The way Ava has been pulling huge updates for like 2 weeks now. It would suggest the song is smashing on every metric and radio is trying to catch up like drivers license but in reality is the opposite :deadbanana4:

How many times does it need to be said that streaming and radio are two different audiences?

MH&MH is currently #17 on Shazam and #63 on iTunes (great for a new song with no MV or televised performances). Clearly the radio audience is eating it up.

Also, she has proven to be a pop radio hit maker with SBP going #3 and K&Q going #2.

And finally, she takes the time to do radio interviews which helps. At least she hasn't been accused of payola by Rolling Stone like another certain Albanian chanteuse, or Scooter's minions.

Yeah, I actually think MH&MH is going to debut with very high callouts. The Shazam response has been amazing tbh. The more they play it, the more people want to know what song it is.

Ariana ties the record for the 2nd most #1's by a woman on pop radio ever with 9 (!) #1's on the format.

The mere suggestion that she'd need payola to do well on radio is so... :priceless:

No matter how many times you try it, the mere fact that she exploded overnight on radio is fishy. It's Ava Max. She's not a force on radio, let alone in the US. Two hits don't make you a radio force.

The song was nowhere on iTunes and streaming, not even on Shazam before it exploded yet radio chose to play her 24/7 overnight.

I understand what you’re saying, and usually I would agree but Ava’s team has proved over and over again that they don’t care about “payola’ing” her music. Her streaming playing support on Spotify is abysmal, most of her singles weren’t even sent to radio and she doesn’t do a lot of promo. Her insider on here @Passlesaid they give each song a trial run to see if they’re worthy of even investing in.

The callouts scores are not that good, but you’re right about Shazam. If Kworb is accurate it’s not charting on Spotify or Apple Music or YouTube and in the 70’s on iTunes so it’s not surprising it’s not completely exploding. It’s basically doing worse on all metrics than MH&MH which you keep calling payola, yet you’re begging for Monsters to have the same updates. :rip:

MHAMH is #8 on Shazam in Toronto, and it's barely getting any plays here yet

The difference between Monsters and MH&MH is that Monsters was doing a lot better on Shazam and iTunes than MH&MH before radio started to play it massively overnight. And nah, callouts are good for Monsters.

MH&MH was rising up Shazam for weeks and is ahead of Monsters. Like it also is on iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music. And no, Monsters callouts are not that good. It’s incredibly hypocritical of you to call out one, and say the other should have it with even worse stats. I’m not disagreeing with you, even as a fan I find radio embracing MH&MH like that odd.

Well, Monsters has also been rising on Shazam for months and has maintained itself within the 65-120 range on iTunes since its release, unlike MH&MH. Not even gonna bother with streaming because it's an All Time Low song after all and they're doing nothing to promote it there.

Also, it's not like I'm asking for 200 spins and 1.5m AI. I'm just asking for slightly better updates for Monsters like in the past weeks in which it was gaining between 60-80 spins and 0.200-0.400 audience, which in comparison to MH&MH is nothing. Very hypocrite of me I guess. :rip:
