Monky_2405 Posted November 5, 2020 Author Posted November 5, 2020 WEEKS 194 Ariana keeps her high "positions"! "Lovesick Girls" is still charting at #2 and it's joined in the Top 3 by "Baby, I'm Jealous" by Bebe Rexha and Doja Cat. "Jealous" becomes the first Top 3 ever for miss Doja. Little Mix serves a smash as "Sweet Melody" rises from #6 to #4, forcing Dua Lipa's "Levitating" to stop its rise at #5 (up from #9). Inside the top 10, the other significant even is the rise of "Magic", by Kylie Minogue (up from #10 to #7). The temperature is high, "Fever" by Dua Lipa and Angéle debuts at #11, and with the video premiere scheduled for this friday it is expected to smash the Top 10 next week. More Ariana! "34+35" enters the chart #14. "OMG What's Happening" rebounds following the music video premiere and goes back to Top 40 by rising back at #38. Among debuts we have a lot of "gold". "Golden" by Harry Styles starts at #41, while "Gold" by Paloma Faith bows in at #42. Monky_2405 Posted November 12, 2020 Author Posted November 12, 2020 WEEKS 195 In spite of the lyrics, Ariana is not switching positions! Her brand new single, "positions" is the #1 song for the third week in a row as it keeps doing big numbers on all metrics. Big numbers also served by Little Mix, their single "Sweet Melody" conqueres the airwaves and reaches a new peak at #2. "Lovesick Girls", as a consequence of how good Little Mix are doing, slips at #3, still preventing "Baby, I'm Jealous" (down at #4) from overtaking. If "Levitating" is stable at #5, "Fever", by Dua Lipa and Angéle, jumps from #11 to #6 in its second week, following the music video premiere, giving Angéle her first Top 10 with her very first entry in the chart. "Golden" by Harry Styles keeps on doing good as it conquers a new peak at #31 (jumping 10 positions from its first week last week). "Gold", by Paloma Faith, is going slower: it only climbs two entering the Top 40 at #40 ahead of Infinite Things release. "Guess I'm A Liar" climbs at #45 and a new peak is also reached by Sam Smith as "Diamonds" charts at #47 (+4 from last week). The highest new entry is the one by Maluma and The Weeknd: "Hawai" enters at #56 in its remix form with the canadian popstar. Among debuts we also have new entries from Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Faouzia and more. One in particular could be "ATM" by Bree Runway featuring Missy Ellietto, entering at #80. Monky_2405 Posted November 26, 2020 Author Posted November 26, 2020 WEEKS 197 Ariana and Little Mix continue to smash as both their hits, "positions" and "Sweet Melody" keep their peaks at #1 and #2 respectively. In the meantime "Levitating" by Dua Lipa and DaBaby finally beats BLACKPINK's "Lovesick Girls" pushing it down at #4 by ascending at a new peak at #3. With "Levitating" charting at #3, "Fever" stable at #6 and "Prisoner" debuting as a smash at #8, Dua Lipa now has three hits charting inside the Top 10 at the same time. As "Prisoner" enters the chart into the Top 10, the previous single from the Plastic Hearts album, "Midnight Sky", is out of the top 10 falling at #11. "Therefore I Am" by Billie Eilish rises from last week, climbing at #12, same for "Resilient (Tiesto Remix)" by Katy Perry with Aitana,up at #14, and "Gold" by Paloma Faith, up at #16. Following her debut album release, Megan Thee Stallion watches her new single, "Body", entering at #18, beating another huge single release from last week, "Monster" by Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber (new at #22). The new single by Ava Max, "My Head & My Heart" enters at #33, while MARINA's comeback single, "Man's World", starts at #55. This past week many songs reached their breaking point, meaning that they had reached a certain number of plays that affected, in a positive way, their performance in the airplay chart, causing them to rise a lot: the better example of this is "Problems" by Anne-Marie up with a huge jump at #60. Consequence of this sort of "panel change" also is the start of a free falling performance by other older songs. Monky_2405 Posted December 17, 2020 Author Posted December 17, 2020 WEEKS 200 Ariana Grande and Dua Lipa switching once again. Just like they did last week "postisions" and "Levitating" changes...positions. As "Levitating" returns for a second week at #1, "posistions" fall at #2. "Prisoner" joins them inside the Top 3 by ascending at #3, followed by "Sweet Melody" at #4 and "34+35" at #5 (up to this new peak from #6). "Body" by Megan Thee Stallion conquers yet another spot by climbing at #9 while, closing the Top 10, "willow", by Taylor Swift, enters the chart at #10 following the surprise drop of its parent album evermore.
