Monky_2405 Posted June 17, 2019 Author Posted June 17, 2019 WEEKS 121 Hopefully, guys, this is the last late update! I'll try to be regular again starting next week, I'll probably post on thursdays in the evening. In spite of last week's prediction, "ME!" by Taylor Swift gets its 6th weeks at #1 and blocks Katy Perry's "Never Really Over" at #2 (+2) in its second week charting. "Lips Don't Lie" by Ally Brooke and A Boogie With A Hoodie jumps at #4 while Cheryl earns her second Top 10 hit as "Let You" jumps at #6. With "Find U Again" entering the Top 10 at #9, Camila Cabello, in collaboration with Mark Ronson, reaches her first top 10 since "Consequences", that song is followed, on the chart, by "Mother's Daughter" by Miley Cyrus, charting at #10 in its second week charting. Hot shot debut for Mabel with "Mad Love", the latest single off her debut album starts at #19. Annalisa confirms her power as the strongest italian artist in this chart placing her latest single, "Avocado Toast" at #32 in it first week charting while BTS and Charli XCX debuts at #47 with their collaboration "Dream Glow". Among debuts we also have Sabrina Carpenter with "In My Bed" at #58. The chart is still suffering from the lack of time for airplay in the past weeks so there's still instability and huge losses are still being registered, resulting in great 2ndWeek effects, or big jumps in general, and, on the opposite side, very hard drops. Some songs debuted on the official playlist only midweek, such as "In The Middle (Sad Banger)" by Chloe Howl, while others debuted early after being released just a day a before the end of the tracking week. such as Kelsea Ballerini's "Better Luck Next Time" and the brand new single by Banks "Look What Your Doing To Me".Check out the full chart below to find out more: OUT THIS WEEK: Spoiler Sam Smith & Normani - "Dancing With A Stranger" Peak: #2 Weeks: 21 Europa (Marting Solveig & Jax Jones) - "All Day And Night (feat. Monky_2405 Posted June 20, 2019 Author Posted June 20, 2019 WEEKS 122 This week Katy Perry scores her second #1 with "Never Really Over". The delicious pop cut rises at #1 from #2 ending Taylor Swift's raign with "ME!" (down at #3). The irony in all of this is that last week Perry was blocked by Swift and that, this week, Perry is the one blocking Swift as "You Need To Calm Down", Taylor's 2nd single off Lover, debuts at #2. Another huge debut, this week, for Little Mix, their brand new single "Bounce Back" enters the chart directly at #6 and it's the second of 3 new top 10s. The third one is "Blame It On Your Love" by Charli XCX and Lizzo. The song is the first Top 10 single for Charli XCX as a lead artist and the first one ever for Lizzo; the music video premiere helped the single to finally break the top 10 wall after 4 weeks. Among debuts we also have, with a really good performance, Ashley O (Miley Cyrus alter ego from Black Mirror) that makes her chart debut with "On A Roll" at #12. "Mad Love" by Mabel rises to a new peak at #14, same for "One Touch" by Jess Glynne and Jax Jones up at #16. potent Posted June 23, 2019 Posted June 23, 2019 Truth Hurts falling already The new number one is better than the last one, although not by much...
Monky_2405 Posted June 28, 2019 Author Posted June 28, 2019 WEEKS 123 If last week was Katy blocking Taylor, this week the two switches theri positions, again! "You Need To Calm Down" claims to #1 in its second week, dethroning "Never Really Over" after just one week spent at the top position. "Nightmare" by Halsey is back at climbing and rises at #3 from its last week position (#4). Little Mix new single, "Bounce Back" is up 2 at #4 while "Lips Don't Lie" is stable and "Let You" climbs back at its peak position at #6. "Senorita" debuts at #9, becoming the first single ever for Shawn Mendes to chart into the top 10, the song benefits, of course, of the power Camila Cabello has. The former Fifth Harmony member is in fact, for example, charting twice in the top 10 as "Find U Again" charts at #10, slipping from #9. "MEGATRON" by Nicki Minaj starts at #20, followed among debuts by "All The Time" by Zara Larsson at #21. Pia Mia debuts at #45 with her brand new single "Crybaby" while both Danity Kane and Ellie Goulding scores very early debuts with singles released by the end of the tracking week: "Neon Lights" is #84 while "Hate Me" is #95 already, and it's expected to rise a lot next week, of course. "Sad Song" is one of the song that benefits of a good rolling effect, in general the second half of the chart is still affected by the fact that the huge amount of new stuff meets with less time to spin old and new songs; this also affects a few songs run both in climbings and fallings. Check out the full chart below: OUT THIS WEEK: Spoiler Aazar - "Diva (feat. Tove Lo & Swae Lee)" Peak: #72 Weeks: 6 DJ Khaled - "Wish Wish (feat. Monky_2405 Posted July 4, 2019 Author Posted July 4, 2019 WEEKS 124 This week has been affected by the lack of strong new releases last friday, this situazion gave a lot of songs room to recover from the spins loss registered in the past week and, with help of promotion and heavy rotation some of them are getting huge updates. "You Need To Calm Down" stays at the top for the second week and it keeps on blocking "Never Really Over" at #2. "Senorita" rises at #3, becoming the first top 3 for Camila Cabello since "Never Be The Same" and the first one ever for Shawn Mendes. "Bounce Back" by Little Mix stays strong at its peak position at #4, in the meantime "Mother's Daughter" re-enters the Top 10 after the music video release and reaches a new peak at #6. "Mad Love" by Mabel, in its fouth week charting, enters the Top 10 at #9. Ten weeks in and "ME!" by Taylor Swift is already out of the top 10, falling at #12 and it's followed, at #13, by "MEGATRON", up 7 spots from last week. The song is in fact climbing at #37 with a 44 spots jump! Same kind of situation for Edurne's latest single and for Sabrina Carpenter's "In My Bed", the single benefits of the music video release and rises at #41 with another huge update. "Hate Me", by Ellie Goulding and Juice WRLD also gets an impressive update after its early debut last week and after its first full week, it climbs at #42. Monky_2405 Posted July 11, 2019 Author Posted July 11, 2019 WEEKS 125 The race to #1 has been, the week, pretty interesting...for the 3rd week in a row Taylor Swift keeps her crown as "You Need To Calm Down" is #1 once again and blocks "Senorita", up at #2. The irony stands in the fact that Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello are both friends with Taylor and that their current single has the same amount of points that "You Need To Calm Down" has. The reason why Taylor is still #1 is that her single has a bigger total amount of plays, also because it was released earlier. That said...after the premiere of its music video "Find U Again" is up at a new peak at #4, becoming Mark Ronson highest charting single since "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart" (#5). Cheryl's "Let You" is up one spot at #7 and keeps on showing good signs of stability and if Mabel already leaves the Top 10 with "Mad Love" slipping from #9 to #11, Nicki Minaj conquers the top 10 once again as "Megatron" is up at #10. "Goodbyes" by Post Malone and Young Thug is the hot shot debut of the week at #22 while "Spirit" by Beyoncé enters the chart with a record-breaking early debut at #26 after being released on the last day of the tracking week and being put on a very strong heavy rotation. "Lead Me One" by Louise enters at #45 and among debuts we also have "Icy" by Kim Petras at #57, "BLOW" by Ed Sheeran, Chris Stapleton and Bruno Mars at #59 and "in my head" by Ariana Grande at #63. "in my head" is the fifth song off thank u, next charting, it was playlisted after the premiere of the Vogue promo video. "Broke Us" by Cierra Ramirez is the greatest gainer of the week as it managed to double its own points and climbs 30 spots reaching a new peak at #35.
