"R.I.P." by Sofia Reyes, Rita Ora and Anitta manages to end Ariana's reign, blocking "7 rings" from matching the "thank u, next" record for song with most weeks at #1. "R.I.P." is the third #1 scored by Rita Ora, while it's the first one for both Anitta and Sofia Reyes. "Please Me" and "So Am I" are stable at their positions from last week, "Sally Walker" jumps at #6 gaining one spot from last week. This week Ciara scores her biggest debut so far as "Thinkin Bout You" debuts at #12 while Ariana collects another record with "MONOPOLY". The Victoria Monét assisted song is, in fact, the biggest early debut ever as it manages to debut at #15 in spite of being released with only two days left for the end of the tracking week. "Don't Worry Bout Me" by Zara Larsson debuts at #32 and it's followed at #33 by "bad guy", the brand new single by Billie Eilish. Monky_2405 Posted May 3, 2019 Author Posted May 3, 2019 WEEK 115 BLACKPINK in your area for a third week in a row! In their fourth week charting with "Kill This Love", BLACKPINK spend a thrid consecutive week at #1. The entire Top 4 is the same as last week, while "Medellin" reaches a new peak at #5, up five spots from last week. With the album release Marina re-enters the top 10 with "Orange Trees" as the song matches its previous peak at #10, for the same reason "To Be Human" re-enters at #97. Just outside the Top 10 BTS and Halsey climbs at #11 with "Boy With Luv", ready to enter the Top 10 next week thanks to the BBMAs effect. This past week was a particular one, as new songs suffered from a huge loss of plays due to lack of time for airplay, considering that the fact that "ME!" by Taylor Swift and Brandon Urie debuts at #14 is quite huge and it would have been for sure a Top 10 already in different and normal circumstances. This situation affected debuts by Zara Larsson, Don Diablo and others: "WOW" debuts only at #76, "Brave" debuts at #89 while "Next To You" by DFA, Becky G and Rvussian starts at #85. All of these songs will probably rebound next week. Check out the full chart below to discover more: OUT THIS WEEK: Spoiler Mark Ronson - "Nothing Breaks Like A Heart (feat. Monky_2405 Posted May 9, 2019 Author Posted May 9, 2019 WEEK 116 With "ME!" reaching the top in its second week, Taylor Swift earns her third #1 while Brandon Urie earns his first one. The first single off TS7 jumps at #1 from its debut #14 position from last week, the song recovers after the spin loss registered during the whole past week. "Thinkin Bout You" by Ciara becomes her highest peaking single as it rises at #2 after her performance at the Billboard Music Awards. "Kill This Love" falls at #3 from #1, "Medellin" reaches a new peak at #4 while "bad guy" falls at #5. This week we have, without counting "ME!", 4 new top 10 songs: "Boy With Luv" jumps at #7 after BTS and Halsey performed for the first time together at the BBMAs, "Sixteen" by Ellie Goulding becomes her second top 10 single jumping at #8, Kygo and Rita Ora climbs at #9 with their collaboration "Carry On" and finally Zara Larsson rebounds with "Don't Worry Bout Me" and peaks at #10. This is probably the very first time since the beginning of the year that Ariana Grande isn't charting in the Top 10: "MONOPOLY" fell at #11, "7 rings" and "break up with your girlfriend" respectively fell at #13 and #14. Also, after spending 26 weeks charting (10 weeks at #1) "thank u, next" left the chart. Talking about debuts, Iggy Azalea scores another good one as "Started" enters at #19 and overtakes "Sally Walker" (#20, -11). "Big Ole Freak" enters the chart #39, after being added and playlisted a bit late, Shawn Mendes starts at #51 with "If I Can't Have You", "Southbound" by Carrie Underwood enters at #68 while "Truth Hurts" by Lizzo, on the wave of its recent success, enters at #79. Madonna places her promo single "I Rise" at #40 and, 'cause of an early leak, also sees her 2nd single "Crave", with Swae Lee, entering the chart early at #93.
