Bad Romance is the one with cultural impact, it was the most watched video on the internet at the time and has only gotten bigger and bigger with time.  It's 12xplatinum, it charted at number 50 on the Hot 100 last year after Superbowl.

Cultural Impact isn't something to use against Bad Romance :rip:  And yes it does have sales.  If streaming was counted back then BR would have been number 1 for weeks.

BR isnt culturally bigger than YMCA, thinking out loud , SUBG, counting stars or 1,2 step

BR only re-entered at 50 because of the Superbowl, before that it was largely forgotten

How is work it not on this list.

How do they measure these "of all time" lists because they always seem so sketchy to me.

It didn’t make it because the song free fell

These lists measure how long a song stayed/ performed strongly on a chart. Slow and Steady usually wins these games. Work it by missy burned out fast along with Lose Yourself

Gotcha well then I guess the list is fair.

SN: I kinda wonder where exhaled wouldve placed had it not gone #1. Imagine one sweet day was released a little earlier or fantasy managed to last one more week. It would've had 12 weeks at #2.

Bad Romance is Lady Gaga's signature hit. Lady Gaga is one of the biggest female artists of ALL TIME.

Thinking out loud and 1.2 step do NOT have more cultural impact than BR which changed the way pop stars released music videos and was the song and video that catapulted Gaga into a stardom that only Britney had seen before :rip:

I hear 1,2 step more frequently than BR also TOL is a huge wedding song.

JD and Poker face is what made gaga into a star tho?

TOL is played in a lot of radio formats , not to mention it already outstreaming/outviewed/outsold BR in a shorter period of time

So, this thread should be called "Biggest No.2 Billboard Hot 100 Hits, #37 Bad Romance, lower than some other ATRL darlings hits". Because people are only talking about Bad Romance vs. (introduce a song of the list).
