I was told for years that "Bad Romance" was the biggest #2 hit of all time.

We were also told Gaga would have more no 1s than Madonna by now. What happened?

Some great songs in here but I feel some are missing  it would be better if it was a top 100.

37, "Bad Romance," Lady Gaga, 2009

Lol wasn't even that big afterall. I was told different before...

And #22. Not everyone has that. :celestial4:

BR so low, but I guess this is based on Billboard stats so, I'm really surprised.

Nnn at 1,2 Step being bigger than Bad Romance.  And the monsters tried to say it was bigger than #1 hits like E.T.

If E.T would have peaked at #2, it wouldn't even have made the Top 100. :celestial6:

Mess, I thought Apologize had gone #1 :rip:

And where's WI and Frozen?

A big reason these lists do not align with people's expectations is due to the fact that recurrency is ignored (which makes sense from a chart/Billboard perspective).

being on ATRL for a while can brainwash u into thinking Bad Romance is the biggest #2 ever

THIS. People are so dramatic here.

25, "You Belong With Me," Taylor Swift, 2009
23, "Quit Playing Games (With My Heart)," Backstreet Boys, 1997
22, "Since U Been Gone," Kelly Clarkson, 2005

I'm still triggered by these iconic singles. :noparty:

E.T. outsold Bad Romance and charted for just as long, as well as being a bigger radio hit.  There is no doubt in my mind that it would've ranked higher than Bad Romance.  Keep in mind that E.T. had strong competition with S&M and Rolling in the Deep (the best-selling digital single by a female artist EVER) as well, yet still hit #1. Bad Romance got BLOCKED.

I didn't know All That She Wants peaked at #2. I thought it was a multiweek #1 :jonny5::jonny5::jonny5:

Ahhh the DEFINITION of SNUBBED.

This is a very questionable list, Thinking Out Loud was waaaaay bigger than some of those songs in the top ten. Bad Romance and Stay With Me should be higher as well.

So jewel gets the 2nd biggest #2 song of all time because her "single" got to got another positive activity?

Doesn't Missy's Work It hold the record for longest weeks at #2? I'm surprised she's not on this list

I looked for Work It immediately lol. I guess it fell fast after hitting #2?

Super-recurrent rule f*cked up both Uptown Funk & Thinking Out Loud
