the thread title. lol pure sales are OVER unless you debuted in 2008-2012. stop acting like it’s the main way of consuming music.

I thought Camila was the next Ariana,Selena,Taylor,Beyoncé & Rihanna? For sure thought she would have a multi week #1:eek:

oh, do ariana, selena, bey, and rih have a perfect record of multi week #1 albums this decade?

why compare the two, it doesn't even make sense now

5H's 2nd week was 5k, doing 5k more is not something impressive when you have a #1 hit, hits, tons of airplay, promo and a discount.

Imo it's a ok 2nd week

You’re speaking all of this as much as you support how streaming affects the charts nowadays. No streaming, no future.

And honestly? I must be proud to be one of those Camila fans who thinks Camila doing double 5H’s pure sales on second week is impressive just like how Ally freaks out about He Like That topping Twitter Trending :heart2:

if he wants to compare...let's compare, that's clearly what I meant.

10. Bruno Mars (Atlantic) 23-26k, 4-5k

Good, I hope grammys have a decent boost

Also nobody cared that Lil Uzi Vert has sold 45k pure total and he’s still top 10 after months

Wow Camila almost doing my first predictions.

If Camila label bought her #1 then that applies to many others like Post Malone sudden rise with Rockstar, Drake’s numbers constantly staying static on iTunes getting a label push, Beyoncé scoring a number one with Ed Sheeran (those units were bought by her label that week) Taylor constantly getting million copies every album cycle, Adele’s insane numbers.

Lets be real, the industry is as fake as the NFL and WWE. All of this is a mirage and y’all dumb ass stans believe everything you see. If you’re gonna accuse one artist then accuse them all because there’s always gonna be questionable dealings within.

Perfect Remix was going #1 regardless and why her label pay for something that doesn’t benefit the company?

he's not a pop girl with a #1. thus people don't feel passion about dragging.

Camila sold 65K pure sales in the first week that was with the pre-orders, the first week hype, a lot of promo etc. I mean what did you guys expect for her second week?

It’s crazy how low pure sales are :rip: even Taylor is struggling with an album released less than 3 months ago

Demi’s longevity is incredible :clap3:

How is the industry living with these sales, is streaming really making money for them ? Given how hard Camila was pushed on Spotify and YouTube, what profit did they got from it ?

How they are paying their employees etc. ?

i think it's some investment, which can be later profitable
