Why are we fighting over Beyonce when Billboard’s the one that ****ed up? At this point, I can’t believe people still respect the idiots that run that site. 

 

OT: Perfect Duet deserved 12 weeks. It’s the best thing Ed Sheeran will ever touch in his life (no offense, Swifties).

Did they change the Billboard rules? I thought that when a remix version with an added artist is released after the solo version has been out, and that new version/remix with the featured artist pushes the song to #1, it counts as a #1 for the newly featured artist. I know that this happened when Britney Spears was featured on Rihanna’s S&M remix, and pushed that song to #1.

It does. Beyoncé is credited on the number one and for 5 of the weeks it stayed there.
