Rusty Posted December 14, 2019 Share Posted December 14, 2019 (edited) It's crazy how well the 34M update from the Vegas article pretty much perfectly aligns with these numbers (CM): The Fame (Monster) - 15.72M The Fame Monster EP - 2.13M The Remix - 1.45M Born This Way - 6.73M ARTPOP - 2.12M Cheek To Cheek - 1.37M Joanne - 1.3M A Star Is Born (10 months of sales) - 3M Total: ~34.3M In other news: Quote Shallow - 4X PLATINUM {200K} (Italy) Plus ASIB is now just ~76K from Diamond in France and charting in the Top 25 (moved >7K this week). It'll soon be Gaga's second Diamond album in France, so she'll match Adele for 2 x Diamond albums which is joint-third for international females there (Madge has 3, Celine has 6). Single sales are tough, and while I was a little surprised at how low Bad Romance's pure sales are (I was sure closer to Just Dance) his stats remain the best we've got. Released in 2014, plus remember it has really minimal SEA/TEA - Gaga's demo definitely brought in digital album sales but that genre and Tony himself is physical sales-oriented hence it has solid pure sales. Yeah last year's total is <4K so at most it's around ~45K in Japan. Not surprising, the movie didn't perform well there either, plus Bohemian Rhapsody sort of became a phenomenon there (biggest 2018 movie there by a mile) at the same time and so took a ton of steam.
