Predictions have nothing to do with actual printed legitimate charts

so shoot me that I enjoy the surprise of what's where on the charts when they are published.

this is the WEEKLY BB thread where we should be discussing the CURRENT weekly chart? Not some potential FUTURE weeks chart.

last I checked the US was a free country where I am entitled to my opinion, even if in the minority, actually especially if in he minoroty.

but how about coming for me, you go after the first poster that complained in this thread about the excess prediction posts.

ow wait, must be easier to come after the blind old lady,

Your animosity is unjustified, and doesn't belong here.

I’ve been doing predictions since 2013, and they’ve been done since 2010, it was easier in 2012 before streaming, but with @simmnfierzig‘s formula we all have our own differences in the amount of streaming we use, radio & sales remain the same. It’s pretty obvious at times which song is going #1 most weeks, very rare do we get surprises or Hot 100 #1 debuts. If you don’t like seeing predictions, don’t enter the thread towards the end of the week.

Anyways, looks like the AI won’t be too much difference anyway, happy for Camila. :clap3:

This is still going on? :rip: If you don't like predictions, then just don't come in the thread, I don't get what the problem is :deadbanana2: Disliking prediction posts is fine, but telling people who like them that they're not allowed to post them/ask about them just because YOU don't like them is selfish and insanely childish :toofunny2: Like if you really can't stand the prediction posts but also can't resist coming into the thread, then just put the predictors and the frequent question askers on your ignore list. Problem solved dddd

Actually, weeks go by that I don't say a word about people making predictions or asking questions.  Further research would show that I don't make it a "thing" until after others have started to show their frustration with the number of same questions asked every two minutes.

it was out of hand this week. I think most can agree with that if they are willing to be honesty about it, rather than saying no way because it's me complaining,

for years it was never out of hand. They are becoming more and more frequent though that the endless questions seem to come up more and more weeks.

its just so damn frustrating when there's such an easy solution that every other forum has adopted to ease this problem. And on every forum that has spun off predictions, it has eased this exact same issue from the weekly chart thread.

i just don't understand why we need to keep doing the same thing over and over.

It's something that's done "over and over" because it's something that a majority of the frequent posters in these threads enjoy :deadbanana: And among the people who don't enjoy it, almost all of them at least tolerate it. It's something that's frustrating for YOU. Asking for a very popular and well-liked aspect of these threads to be removed simply because you and one or two other users don't like it is incredibly selfish. Like I said, the ignore feature exists for a reason. If you really dislike the predictions and questions so much that you can't stand to see them, then put a user on your ignore list if you see them asking too many questions.

That's all I'll say on the matter because your pages and pages of rants in this thread seem to indicate that you'd rather just complain about how frustrated you are than actually do something about it. Feel free to take my suggestion, or feel free not to, but please stop pretending like "I don't like something therefore WE SHOULD GET RID OF IT" is a valid argument that anyone wants to read (and keep reading for pages on end).

@ChartsFan

You do realize that saying "small questions all the time are annoying" a day after you argued over multiple pages with me over the semantic if BB200 predictions would be "impossible" or "very hard" is extremely contradicting, right? Especially cause absolutely nobody cared, while almost the whole forum is anxious about Havana possible hitting #1

I would be surprised, but certainly too early to rule it out

No radio and no YouTube is a bit much to overcome
