FKA Diarrhoea's Critiques

idk this didn't slay me :katie: I expected more. I love this song but it's already quite slow and stripped back, making it even more minimal didn't work.

Again, you have a nice timbre to your voice but you don't really use it, you have a clear niche and it's not even that you don't go outside of it (which you don't) but it's as though you don't consider anything like production which has proven capable of lifting entries (Tymps' The Impossible Dream in particular)

Wait yaaaaas this was a great choice for you, lucky sis. Your voice broke in a few bits but that complimented the glitchy backing, but you really suited her voice whilst being different and the production was a break from what you've done before. Well-produced and well-sang (a bit nasal but not hugely-so), your best by far.

The intro was unneeded, and the reverb was a biT extra, but you did great with it so who cares? At times it sounds like you're trying a bit much bit, but without that you probably wouldn't give as much as you clearly do so keep on going, sis. The obvious standout for two weeks in a row.

Again, this basically applies... but without the final line. Why the effects? I get that sometimes they add to the entry, but this just seems as though you're trying to hide some flaws (which you don't even need to?) and other contestants don't need this in their entries. It removes the emotional directness that others have.

Okay so I don't think that this is your fault but the choice is a mess. The before the second verse 'oooooh!' was like the 'yeaaaaah!' in the Black Widow radio edit in terms of being jarring. I feel like you have the same niche as Jack Reid, but you're more adventurous and do it better. :gaycat5:

keshaspearsxo was too drunk to do critiques and Jaxswim died in a vicious and bloody car accident last week so is sadly no longer available to judge.

Cool so I'm in the bottom I think :/ Judges please save me!

I've reread Diarrhoea's comment like ten times because I'm illiterate and I still don't understand dd. But stan for my production in my The Impossible Dream cover!! <3

I thank @feelslikeadream a thousand times for this song choice :jonny:

And thank you judges for your mercy :jonny:

(Mess that only 2 judges submitted their critiques though. My good sis @Jaxswim betrayed me like this  )

It doesn't count as a betrayal when the good sis is dead

Screaming at the #1 this round being the only person that didn't choose a song choice I gave them. Come on unintentional sabotage

nnnn you're welcome sis. I really didn't expect you to pick it, but it seems like it was a good choice after all :clap3:

I understand at the reverb. I honestly just couldn't get my mic to sound good with the instrumental so reverb smooths it out and makes it sound it's best, at least to me. Again that's all the effects i add and it doesn't change my voice, and if i get through next week i already got a new program that will fix those issues so no reverb will be added anymore. But excited for results.
