what's interesting is that for snippets for this album era so far, this is the first time we haven't gotten what's explicitly already known to be a piano ballad. the Jaguar/Hello Kitty snippet could be one, but the piano isn't clear in it. in past eras we had snippets of Happy Loner, Highly Emotional People, I'm Not Hungry Anymore (as a ballad)… so I'm very curious to hear what the ballads will be like this time around! I'm hoping for more Highly Emotional Peoples and Flowers' and fewer Soft to be Strongs (not that StbS is a bad song it's just not… as characteristically, quirkily Marina as the other two, it's always sounded more sanitized to me)

All these comments blaming the victim of a physically abusive relationship and not a single one criticizing the man for literally shooting his partner…hmm. Abusers don't just inflict physical harm - they dismantle their victim's self-worth such that the victim feels like they deserve the abuse. Her comment that he "made her stronger" reflects the deep psychological manipulation typical of abusive relationship dynamics. It doesn't make her "stupid". It makes her a typical survivor of abuse.
