  4. A-ha had a huge 1980s hit with "Take On Me" which now has close to 1.5 billion streams on YouTube and over 1.1 billion on Spotify. In recent years, some newer hit records appear to have taken inspiration from "Take On Me", including The Weeknd with "Blinding Lights" More recently, some music critics have noticed similarities between the Harry Styles hit, "As It Was" and the music of A-ha. Justin Hawkins does a pretty good analysis of the musical similarities between "Take On Me" and "As It Was" here: You can skip forward to 2:40 for the actual musical analysis and to 7:02 for an analysis of Harry's red catsuit in the video. No one is saying that anything was stolen (maybe just the red catsuit), although it appears that both songs were inspired by "Take On Me". But which song did it better, "Blinding Lights" or "As It Was" and did/does either song deserve a Grammy award?
