Nothing ever came close to challenging it for Song of the Year, but Grammy winner “Uptown Funk” put up a sporting fight to retain its Record of the Year honors. Ultimately, though, Mark Ronson fell a single vote short. Taylor Swift is now the first artist to win both Song and Record twice. In 2017, the Grammys unnecessarily stacked the deck for Adele, nominating her alongside some of the worst songs I’ve ever heard.
