Adele easily defended her wins for “Hello” in our 2017 poll. She joins Taylor Swift in winning both polls twice. In 2018, the blue ribbon panel spared us the possibility of an Ed Sheeran sweep, but ended up clearing the path for a Bruno Mars sweep. I am thinking of a gif of two trash cans racing. Nobody here thought very highly of last year’s lineups, and I have to say I might find this batch even less appealing. Vote now.

Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space” emerged as the early frontrunner in both categories in our 2016 poll. Nothing ever came close to challenging it for Song of the Year, but Grammy winner “Uptown Funk” put up a sporting fight to retain its Record of the Year honors. Ultimately, though, Mark Ronson fell a single vote short. Taylor Swift is now the first artist to win both Song and Record twice. In 2017, the Grammys unnecessarily stacked the deck for Adele, nominating her alongside some of the worst songs I’ve ever heard. Will Adele defend her wins for “Hello,” like she did in our 2012 poll, or will Beyoncé or Rihanna manage to snag a trophy? Vote now.

poll Can Ava’s ‘Whatever’ stare pop in the face and become a hit?
Mr. Stratus posted a topic in Base
Whilst our pop faves have been in hiding until late when it was safe to drop a poppy pop bop ( and many still tanked/aged) only one woman, Ava, has been consistent. But, can Whatever become a hit?
