  1. Kylie Minogue makes secret trip to London to play label bosses her new album MOVING back to Australia hasn’t slowed down Kylie Minogue’s momentum for making music. I can reveal she has all but completed her 16th studio album and secretly jetted into London last week to play the record for her label. She met with bosses at BMG so they could listen to her new songs and discuss the collection’s release – which isn’t too far away. A source told me: “Everything is being treated as top secret. Most people at the label didn’t even know she was coming. “She quietly flew into London to visit bosses at BMG. “They were really impressed and talks moved on to how they will roll it out. “Details are being ironed out but the album is scheduled to drop in the first half of 2023.” It will be her first album since Disco, which was the fastest-selling record from a solo artist in 2020. Earlier this summer I told how Kylie had hit the studio with songwriter Kamille, who helped write some of Little Mix’s most-loved hits plus songs with Jax Jones and Mabel. As well as producing a monster back catalogue, Kylie has always been one of the nicest people in the industry so I can’t wait to hear what she’s come up with. Source: X Update taken from Sayhey This guy is 100% reliable. She's coming

  8. RIHANNA FOREVER: RIRI SONGS TO GRACE PANTHER SEQUEL Much chatter continues that Rihanna has recorded two songs to be included on the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack. This isn’t the first time the artist's name has been linked to Wakanda; talk was rampant among fans in late 2020 that RiRi would be cast in the film, but that rumor was later debunked. The original Black Panther, which arrived in multiplexes in 2018, spawned an original-score release as well as a smash “inspired by” album. Insiders say the sequel will follow suit, with music dropping via Marvel/Disney and Def Jam/Westbury Road, the latter due to Rihanna’s involvement. The Marvel movie hits screens on 11/11; check out the trailer below. This blockbuster-soundtrack moment could well be a massive look as RiRi re-emerges in the music space—the superstar is slated to perform at the Super Bowl halftime show in January. Rumors that a Fenty superstore will be opening in Wakanda have yet to be confirmed. x Oscar winner Rihanna?

  13. I accidentally stumbled upon a clip of “Snow On The Beach” on the World Wide Web and can I just say, though it wasn’t terrible, it certainly didn’t posses the quality I expected from Taylor (at this point in her career) or from Lana. It sounds like a 1989 album cut, which isn’t a bad thing, but, 1989 was 2014. The song also has the same sleepy production and lyricism as songs you can find on folklore and evermore. Will Taylor ever take a true risk in her music career or release an album that is so sonically different from past eras? It’s all starting to sound the same. I’m sure Swifties™ will think otherwise because Taylor says “f*cking” in the chorus and Lana’s featured and it does sound like a dreamy, whimsical song. Either way, I’m perched for the rest of Midnights.
  14. Newest MPG Kim Petras has surpassed the Spotify monthly listeners of fellow pop star Britney Spears, as she approaches 40 million. Reports show ATRL is fuming ever since global chart-topping hit 'Unholy' has been sitting pretty at #1 on Spotify Global. The song holds strong at #2 for a third week on Billboard Hot 100. Newest MPG confirmed
  15. It’s no surprise that both of these artists are obsessed with charts, sales, awards, etc. Nicki seems to be more [vocally] obsessed with charts and stats as she’s constantly posting about hers on her socials, whereas, Taylor was not only seen on screen depressed about reputation not being nominated in any of The Big Four categories at the 2018 GRAMMYs and stating she needs to “make better music,” but, she has had her run-ins with heavily discounted singles, limited promos on her site, releasing several versions of her latest albums, most-recent “pls stream” gate Who’s the artist more OBSESSED with success and stats? It’s silly as both of these artists are over a decade into their respective careers, yet, care a great deal about success as if they’re new to the industry. Thoughts?
