music news Flyleaf is back with original lead singer/songwriter Lacey Sturm (Mosley).

https://www.instagram.com/p/CkqZyxALNmZ/?igshid=MDJmNzVkMjY= Both Lacey and the band account has shared this image on their social media. Still no confirmation if the comeback is for live only shows (like The Cardigans have done since their last album back in 2005) or if it's a full length brand new album. For those who didn't know, Flyleaf released their latest album back in 2014 independently along with a new vocalist Kristen May (ex frontwoman of the band Vedera). But decided to part ways after just one album because she never felt like part of the band. -
Peter recently said that his next album, his first since 'UP' released in 2002, is "reaching completion". During the last few days he has been posting pictures working in his studio with the legendary Tony Levin and Manu Katche. Even today his social media and website have been updated with mysterious banners. Now people subscribed to his newsletter are receiving the following message: Welcome... ... to anyone who has just joined up to this mailing list over the last few days. Hello to all those who have been with us for a while. Thank you for being here! Our aim is to keep you up-to-date with all the latest news on Peter's activities. You will hear about things here first (as long as you open the emails!) and get access to offers not promoted on any other platforms. Hopefully, there will be lots to tell you about. It's been a while since the Full Moon Club was in full swing, but hopefully we can revive a bit of that spirit here. *Checks calendar to see when the next full moon is...* See you back here soon! music news “RENAISSANCE” More Critically/GP Acclaimed Than “Midnights”
Brikenbur posted a topic in Base
Despite Midnights selling close to 4x more in a week than RENAISSANCE () - based upon reviews collected over at Metacritic, it seems Beyoncé’s seventh studio album is more acclaimed by critics as well as audiences. Why? -

It’s the last day of October 2022. She’s just had the biggest album debut of her 16-year career, with over 1.5 Million units in a week. She’s just become the first ever artist to occupy the entire Billboard Hot 100 top ten. She’s broken the streaming records and crossed 1 million on pure sales alone. At 32 years of age, it appears that Taylor Swift has once again hit a new peak. So what’s next for Swift? She’s gone for charts over arts with Midnights (with incredible success) after releasing two universally acclaimed, folk-inspired albums during the pandemic. She’s still got 4 more re-recordings to release. Ignoring the upcoming Taylor’s Versions, where should Swift go next musically? Do we want a Midnights 2.0, a return to full-on radio pop, another arts-over-charts alternative record, a triumphant return to country, or opt for a brand new genre to crack? In my opinion, while she may have nothing left to prove commercially, I fear that a backlash is brewing and she will be forced to prove herself once again artistically. Midnights is far from her best work but it seems to have struck a chord with general public (but I’ve seen a lot of a less positive response from many of her die-hard fans). I worry that she’ll stick with the Midnights strategy given its incredible success, while diluting down her writing again. What do you want next from Miss Swift?
