  6. I usually search Nicole Scherzinger in here to see if there is any discussion or new threads about her. And thanks to her I learned there is an artist called Nicole Dollengager thought it was a nickname for scherzinger . And sometimes I search about old 2000s stars like Fergie and Gwen or some local artist to see anyone in atrl knows them. So who do you write on the search bar and why? I know a fanbase that search Britney more than their faves

  9. Neve Campbell has been tapped as the lead of Avalon, ABC’s drama series based on Michael Connelly’s short story, from David E. Kelley (Big Sky, Big Little Lies), A+E Studios and 20th Television. This marks Campbell’s second collaboration with Kelley, Connelly, fellow Avalon executive producer Ross Fineman and A+E Studios. She starred opposite Manuel Garcia-Rulfo in the breakout first season of Netflix’s The Lincoln Lawyer, another Kelley adaptation of Connelly’s work, which the two exec produce with Fineman through A+E Studios. Campbell is set to continue on The Lincoln Lawyer as a recurring guest star in Season 2. Avalon, which received a straight-to-series order from ABC, takes place in the city of Avalon on Catalina Island, where L.A. Sheriff’s Department Detective Nicole “Nic” Searcy (Campbell) heads up a small office. Catalina has a local population that serves more than 1 million tourists a year, and each day when the ferries arrive, hundreds of potential new stories enter the island. Detective Searcy is pulled into a career-defining mystery that will challenge everything she knows about herself and the island. Campbell also is filming a recurring role opposite Anthony Mackie in Peacock’s high-profile upcoming series Twisted Metal. On the film side, she most recently reprised her iconic role of Sidney Prescott in Spyglass Media Group and Paramount Pictures’ relaunch of the Scream film franchise. She recently confirmed that she had turned down a Scream 6 return after “feeling undervalued.”
  10. Ecuador all the way. All ATRL should support the Ecuadorian team
  11. Inspired by this thread: I was doing the dishes a few nights ago, cleaning the whole kitchen counters, and returning things back to the fridge or cupboards, and I realized I actually like doing this stuff now. There's something really relaxing knowing that I have personally cleaned those dishes up to my standards and I can make sure they're 100% clean the next time I use them. In my late teens, I was the opposite. You'd enter my dorm and you'd see stacks of dirty dishes in the sink. What about you?
  12. The idea that your sexual orientation is fluid seems to be something so many gay men can’t agree with. Why is that? No one is hardly strictly gay, and you can change your orientation.
  13. Well have you ever had a dream about one of your past lives is this a thing that can even happen do you believe in it

  16. So much of pop culture history was lost because of the repeated deletion of ATRL's past threads. Let's try to recover what we can. I'll start: https://web.archive.org/web/20220407085453/https://atrl.net/forums/topic/241087-shakira-to-be-killed-in-saudi-arabia/ Seems only the first page is archived. It's a shame ATRL only has 25 posts per page, because I bet a majority of archived threads would only have one or two pages saved.
  17. Being on atrl I get that this post is highly likely to rub a lot of people the wrong way, or perhaps striking a nerve is necessary. This isn’t to cause offence but more open to viewpoints: I’m speaking less about online experiences and more in-person experiences (you know, outside of dating and more on a professional basis). I have increasingly attended LGBT+ events for those working in politics, STEM, finance, law, etc as I work across these fields, in London, New York and Paris, believing it’s a safe space and hopefully meeting like minded people and for networking and other opportunities. Perhaps in order to garner mutual understanding and make life long work connections. Yet nearly every space exhibits the exact same behaviour: 90% of the white gays (in their 20s, 30s and early 40s mind you) constantly band together in their groups and dissociate or ignore anyone else trying to politely introduce themselves and make new friends and/or connections, as hard as I (and others) try. (Well why am I going after white gays you might say …….. just because they make up 90% of the people at these events so it’s unintentional). So I’m wondering, is it just me? Am I being paranoid? I’m not really seeking validation, I’m seeking openness and equality of opportunity. Well interestingly, a common point of discussion other non-white gays at these events have corroborated similar experiences, but still I admire them holding heads high, ignore it and push through it. Aside from the odd ethnic minority pick-mes and the white gays that entertain them, what can be done to call out their cliqueness and be more embracing and open to just TALKING, never mind helping them out in a professional setting? It’s a rant. But how do fellow non-whites gays go through their day to day lives, and still have the energy to strive and push through to the top? You can say ignore it, but because this is from a professional development perspective the cold truth is that white gays are still white men at the end of the day, and have connections to smoother upward mobility and/or have the access to control the system, what can I or others do to combat this? I don’t come from a wealthy family or one with connections, so I’ve been starting from the ground up. But it is just excruciatingly exhausting internally to keep up this battle and I would just be interested in hearing others’ experiences.
