  1. Like did you ever undergo a beauty upgrade? Like were you low key ugly at some point in your life and then worked on looking better and transformed? I'm kind of feeling ugly lately and I started dating someone and he is hot AF. I kind of dont like being the uglier person in the relationship so I want to transform. I've been hitting the gym these past few months, upgrading my skin care, got a better hair cut that suits my face way more and am in the process of having a wardrobe overall (though I dont want to invest in tons of new clothes now when I am still undergoing my body transformation / trying to gain a lot of muscle). I know there is a cap to how much you can upgrade / looksmax yourself but I think this stuff will make me feel a lot more secure in this blossoming relationship. It's low key tough dating someone really attractive Anyways, have yall gone through this and how did you do it? did you slip back to being an ugly duck or did you stay as a swan ever since your transformation? 2. 6th December 2022: -A group of Australian lawmakers has arrived in Taiwan, according to Taipei's foreign ministry, defying Beijing's warnings about the visit at a time of rising tensions over the self-ruled island. -Ministry spokeswoman Joanne Ou told reporters that “There is a group of bipartisan members of the parliament from Australia currently visiting Taiwan. They are already here.” -"We appreciate that the Australian parliament is very friendly to Taiwan," Ou said, describing Taipei-Canberra relations as "robust, diverse, and mutually beneficial." According to a spokesman for one delegation member, the group left Sunday for a five-day visit to Taiwan, risking China's ire just as relations between Beijing and Canberra appeared to be warming. Speaker Nancy Pelosi was supposed to go to Taiwan in April. She cancelled reportedly due to Covid. Now she along with a delegation will go to Taiwan on August 1st. This is the anniversary of the People's Liberation Army (a sensitive day for China). This is news because an American speaker has not visited Taiwan in 25 years. Biden says the army thinks China may shoot the plane down. China Announces Sanctions on Nancy Pelosi Over Taiwan Trip China said it would sanction US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, after she defied Beijing by becoming the highest-ranking American politician to visit Taiwan in 25 years. 6. [...] Shannon Epstein allegedly caused the ruckus on a 6 a.m. flight from New Orleans, Louisiana, to New Jersey on Thanksgiving Day, and was kicked off after she had acted aggressively and asked a Latino family sitting nearby if they were “smuggling cocaine.” The 25-year-old refused to get off the jetway and shouted at responding officers, according to police documents obtained by The Post. “I heard Epstein berate Deputy Ducos and the two agents,” an officer with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office wrote in the report. “Epstein refused to follow their direction to exit the jetway.” “Epstein screamed: ‘Are you serious? Do you know who I am? I’m related to some very powerful people and I need to get back on that plane to New Jersey,’” the report said. She later screamed: “Do you know who I am? I’m Chris Christie’s daughter and you’re so f—ed. You will lose your job over this s—. I know Donald Trump.” At one point she “broke free” as officers tried to handcuff her, forcing cops to block her path. She “was belligerent and displayed unusual strength” during the struggle, according to the report. The niece of the ex-gov and failed 2016 presidential candidate “slurred her words” and “had white foam coming from the sides of her mouth. “Epstein punched me, kicked me, spit in my face, and twisted as she attempted to free herself from my grip,” the officer writing the report said. Epstein continued her screed against the police: “By this time tomorrow you will both be in jail. What the f— did I do? I’m a lesbian. Is that it? Do you want put your dick in me? That’s it, isn’t it. That’s what this is all about? You want to put your dick in my mouth, don’t you? You’re so f—ed, you *******.” Epstein continued to be violent after going on the drunken tirade, cops said, which forced them to tackle her to the floor. She then bit an officer’s left bicep and “tore the skin away.” She also scratched the officer’s left leg as she attempted to kick him in the groin, police said. Officers were eventually able to handcuff her, but she continued to “struggle against handcuff, kick, spit on deputies, and attempt to break free,” according to the report. When asked if she was aware what was happening, she responded: “I’m very aware.” “Do you guys think I have cocaine in my p—y?” she asked, then screamed for several minutes [...] The brash-talking Garden State pol’s niece was charged with six counts of battery on a police officer, three counts of disturbing the peace, one of resisting arrest by force and one of remaining after forbidden. She was released from Jefferson Parish Correction Center on Thanksgiving Day after putting up $10,750 in bail. She and her uncle have both not responded to requests for comment by The Post. X

  8. I want to buy tickets to Depeche Mode, but a standard floor ticket (not golden circle) is +230$ Nosebleeds with limited view are maybe 150. I've been to many concerts, like Lady Gaga, Kendrick Lamar, Rammstein, Guns N Roses and I've never seen prices THIS high for a standard floor ticket. I know there was the whole thing about Taylor Swift and Ticketmaster's dynamic pricing, literally one of the the most anti-consumer thing ever made. What's your opinion on this, would you still buy tickets at those prices?

  10. Neve Campbell joined Dax and Monica in the latest episode of the Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard podcast released yesterday, December 5, and she talked about turning down the role of Lara Croft in the 2001 live action adventure film, which went on to be portrayed by Angelina Jolie, who also starred in a sequel. Campbell said, "they came to me with Lara Croft and I was just, I had this idea that I was going to have a different career and I was like 'no, Lara Croft? that's silly,' and I had also been doing horror movies -- which aren't really my thing. And you know, people are always like "why did you choose Scream?" and it's like, 'it was the first lead in a movie I was offered!' You know what I mean? I'm really grateful for those movies but it's certainly not the stuff I grew up watching or I choose to watch. So yeah, Lara Croft felt like a sidestep, sort of felt similar to that. Then they came to me with Alien vs. Predator, and I'd say to my team 'I don't want to do horror!' [...] so yeah, those are probably the movies that did very well and I probably should've done. But I'm fine with it." Campbell had previously revealed she had turned down the role in favor of independent projects she felt passionate about, such as Panic with William H. Macy and Donald Sutherland, Last Call, opposite Jeremy Irons, and The Company, directed by Robert Altman. Campbell also talked about being grateful for becoming the face of the Scream fanchise and her emotional journey with it, "The first one was so good for me, it was so huge, I couldn't believe it. And they are really good movies, I'm aware of that, I'm also aware that there are audiences who just love these movies and it means a lot, so I'm very, very grateful for them. But I certainly did go through a period of time where all I was getting offered was horror movies, you know? And so I was just resenting it a little bit, just wanting things to shift, so I actually moved to England, which was a really good choice for me. [Where] I did a few plays."
