I was returning from a conference driving my company's car when I was about 20mins away from my company where I was supposed to leave the car, some car accident happened right in front of me. It was already dark and the only way to reach the company was by circuling around a hill. I decided to give it a shot, but since it was dark I didnt expect it to be so uphill, at some point the car wouldn't move, so I panicked and I guess I tried too many stuff at once until it worked. I parked it for a second to check Google maps once again, then some guy came up to me and said he saw smoke coming out of the car and asked if everything was ok. Only then I realised I might have ****** something up. I got out of the car and it smelled like something burned. He said since its a good car I shouldnt have any problem driving back to my company. But that worried me, I even started feeling the smell inside the car. So I decided to wait for the police to clear everything out, sat in a cafe thinking after an hour the car would cool off and there would be no smell. However, after 2 hours it was still there. In the end I returned it to the company and now I'm being a bit stressed. My boss is an ******* and he always makes a giant deal out of any minor thing so me reporting the issue wouldn't be a good thing at all, especially since I'm already kinda on bad terms with him. My friend told me a similiar thing happened to him and everything was okay, he still felt the smell after a few days and then it was gone. The thing is, my company has about 6-7 cars the emplyees can use for bussiness trips. I returned it on a Saturday, meaning the earliest somebody could use it is Monday, ~36 hours later. Is it enough time for the car to cool off? Or, is it possible it cools off and once someone else starts the engine it will start to smell again?

I've lived in the UK for my entire life (22 years old). I live only about an hour's commute from South London. And last September I moved to London, which I hated so much & spent 3 months trying to get out of my tenancy so I could move home. As I'm entering adulthood, I'm starting to realise how much I don't like the UK: 1. The weather - this country is COLD for about 9 months of the entire year. Even today, in late April, it's pouring with rain and 9 degrees in temperature. The winter months we just had were horrible as well. It was unbearably cold & no one has the money to turn the heating on. I find it hard living in this weather as I'm very much a Summer person. Having a slight tan, wearing t shirts & shorts, really helps me to feel happy & confident in my body. I even find the sun makes my hair healthier & thicker. 2. Overcrowded - the UK is one of the most crowded nations in Europe. And as I live only an hour outside of London, I see the side effects of this quite a lot. Firstly the traffic is just awful. Queues for supermarkets are getting worse. It's even just stuff like getting a seat on the bus or train, it's become impossible. As someone with social anxiety, living in an overcrowded area does not help that. 3. Cost of living crisis - one of the biggest issues we're facing is the cost of living going up so much. I'm thinking of becoming a teacher & starting salaries in the UK are about £28K (£23K take home after tax). That'll leave me with about £1,900 each month. The average 1 bed flat is about £1,250 per month at the moment (£650) Gas, electricity bills, etc. approx £200 per month (£450) Student loan repayments approx £100 per month (£350) Petrol costs approx £100 per month (£250) Then not to forget stuff like wifi, phone bills, medical subscriptions, buying yourself food, etc. You're going to be left with no money. Sorry for this being long-winded, but I just wondered if there's anyone on ATRL that left the UK to start a new life somewhere else & how it's going for you?

Machine Gun Kelly (Bad Things): He didn't collapse but he seemed way more promising than right now Mark Ronson (Find U Again): Never had a hit anymore. Mind u this song was after Uptown Funk and Nothing Breaks Like a Heart Beautiful (BAZZI): He was promising with 'Mine' being a hit, followed-up by his collab with Camila, Beautiful. Where are him now? My Oh My (DaBaby): He's over. Shawn Mendes (Senorita): I feel like this is one of the biggest curses, he was to the point of reaching a main pop boy status and then just flopped with his follow-up album. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like since I've been doing some personal glow ups in my life & putting some care into myself, the thing that I've really started to notice is just how straight up insufferable & LETHAL the vibes I get from random str8 guys are . It's like you're NOT supposed to be out & looking your best while they're strolling hand-in-hand cornishly with their SOs in their contrived and performative walks Have str8 guys always been like this? Am I the only one that senses this? Even guys that are 10s across the board, give this ego-death vibe & jealous, overly territorial vibe that's like nauseating at times.
