  1. The devils grass or the devils blood, which of u prefer?
  2. Do any of you do this and why? 99.9% of the time it’s the ugliest person in the pic so it feels like catfishing. I’m willing to hear out arguments though.
  3. By making public transport free, we could massively cut carbon emissions. It would also boost travel increasing consumer spending and it’s something many people rely on so arguably we should treat it the same way we treat public school or hospitals (for the non-US girlies). Companies spend so much making ticketing platforms and trying to stop fare evasion that the costs wouldn’t be that much (for example, it would cost $1.4B USD to give all of Australia free public transport for a year).
  4. is your black heart happy knowing the kids are back in school suffering? movie theaters are empty again, grocery stores aren’t running rampant with parents and their nasty kids, pools are empty, streets are empty during the day during the week again, no kids on bikes, just quietness. traffic sucks again obviously, but are you happy anyways??

    Things to do in Miami?

I'm going to Miami, solo, this winter to enjoy myself What should I do / shouldn't do? Any recommendations? I'm a woman traveling alone, so I don't plan to go out late, party and get wasted, although I'd like to enjoy a nice drink and food somewhere
  6. In honor of National Cinema Day, what film will you go see in theaters?
  7. I’ve been using Apple Music for the past 3 years. I used to have Spotify student premium back in 2018/19 and it was a great experience having it. Now that Spotify brought back their free 3 months of premium, it is time for me to make the switch. I’ll just create a new account with another email and use a different credit card. That’s all. Thanks for reading.
  8. I can’t think of a worst tv show. It’s not only BAD and BORING, and dragged unnecessarily for too many seasons, but it has been proven to be harmul due to its glorifying of suicide and metal illness. It’s a very harmful portrayal of depression, suicide, sexual assault and other very real issues. It simplifies suicide as a way to solve problems. https://www.newyorker.com/culture/cultural-comment/netflix-and-suicide-the-disturbing-example-of-13-reasons-why Everyone involved on this mess should be ashamed tbh
  9. After reports of Elon working on adding a shopping cart feature to twitter, new reports confirm he is also allowing companies to list jobs on twitter like Indeed. there are also new rumors that Twitter/X will be adding GPS functions, Voice and video FaceTime calling features, Stocks app functions, and more. Will X succeed in being the all in one social media hub?
  10. A lot of the vitriol seem to be directed towards trans women. However, nearly every argument they have falls apart once you mention trans men. Like bathrooms. That’s their usual go to. However, they would freak out if they see a burly dude with a full on beard walking into the women’s room. They literally go on and on about women’s sports. But they don’t care about women’s sports, and have no issue with trans men in men’s sports. And it’s not like the numbers are different. There’s about an equal amount with both trans men and women.
  11. How is inflation r̶u̶i̶n̶i̶n̶g̶ impacting you ATM? Do you go out less? Do you skip meals, or eat less portions than before I've been learning how to cook more. Also been seeing a LOT of people around me living with other families, or roommates (rooms costs the same price as an ENTIRE 1 bedroom apartment in like 2013 these days in the GTA ).
  12. According to MAGA, Trumps mugshot is now one of the most famous pictures in the history of the United States: https://x.com/claytravis/status/1694879229161144389?s=46&t=F2Kqdy7aScoPGAKFHNr8dQ This leads to the question: what do you consider the most famous photo in our country’s history. Iwo Jima? The Kennedy assassination? Gettysburg? Marilyn Monroe? Normandy? MLK Jr? 9/11? Post it
  13. Lucy Letby trial: ‘Poisoner’ neo-natal nurse accused of murdering 7 babies Lucy Letby – described as “the constant malevolent presence when things took a turn for the worse for these 17 children” – is accused of trying to murder some of the infants multiple times. One of the babies is alleged to have been murdered at just one day old – pronounced dead within 90 minutes of Ms Letby coming on duty. An investigation was launched but when a cause could not be found, consultants noticed that the inexplicable collapses and deaths had “one common denominator”. Mr Johnson continued: “Many of the events in this case occurred on the night shifts. When upon Lucy Letby was moved on to day shifts, the collapses and deaths moved to the day shifts.” Child A, a baby boy, was the first to be attacked and murdered at just a day old, on 8 June 2015. The baby was born just a minute behind his twin sister at 8.31pm the previous day. It is alleged that Letby tried to kill child B, the twin sister of child A, at about midnight on 9 June 2015. The court heard that child B required some resuscitation at birth on 7 June but recovered quickly and stabilised. But shortly before midnight, her blood/oxygen levels fell and nasal prongs providing additional oxygen had been dislodged. Lucy Letby trial - latest: Nurse 'killed two out of three triplets' - and 'smiled after killing another premature baby girl at fourth attempt' The prosecution alleges Letby murdered two out of three triplets - these are Children O and P. Triplet Child O died 'within a few minutes' of Letby entering neonatal unit. The Guardian: Nurse Lucy Letby guilty of murdering seven babies at Chester hospital A neonatal nurse has been found guilty of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill six more, making her the worst child serial killer in modern British history and raising urgent questions over whether her crimes could have been stopped. Lucy Letby, 33, was convicted of the “persistent, calculated and cold-blooded” murder of five premature boys and two newborn girls on the unit where she worked at the Countess of Chester hospital in north-west England. As ministers ordered an independent inquiry into how Letby was able to carry out her horrifying campaign, a whistleblower told the Guardian that he believed babies would have been saved if hospital executives had acted sooner on concerns about the nurse. Dr Stephen Brearey, who was the first to alert executives to Letby’s connection to unusual deaths and collapses, said he felt bosses had been “neglectful” by failing to contact the police earlier. Letby was in her mid-20s when she preyed on highly vulnerable babies between June 2015 and June 2016, often attacking them just moments after their parents or nurses had left their side. Police were finally contacted in 2017 and she was arrested in 2018. Her victims included two identical triplet brothers, killed within 24 hours of each other, a newborn weighing less than 1kg (2lb) who was fatally injected with air, and a girl born 10 weeks premature who was murdered on the fourth attempt. Bereaved parents gasped and wept in the public gallery as the verdicts were delivered over several dramatic days at Manchester crown court, after one of the longest-running murder trials in recent times.

  16. Hey. So I don't know if you've noticed this before, but this seems to have been an actual trend in the early 2000s. Tropical locations with futuristic elements Even Kylie was low key on trend! Do you like this vibe? Personally I love it. Partly because I actually grew up in a climate similar to this so it really felt like home. Feel free to share more examples

Is he the biggest fall from Grace in the countries history, or does someone else take the cake?
