Jessica Watkins – who was sentenced to eight-and-a-half years in prison in connection to her leadership role in the January 6 Insurrection – is worried about being sent to a men’s prison because she’s transgender. She’s asking her followers to get Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), and Jim Jordan (R-OH) to pressure the Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) to place her in a women’s prison. Greene, Gaetz, and Jordan have all expressed anti-LGBTQ+ views in the past and are unlikely to support trans women being housed in women’s prisons. -

Do any of you do this and why? 99.9% of the time it’s the ugliest person in the pic so it feels like catfishing. I’m willing to hear out arguments though.

By making public transport free, we could massively cut carbon emissions. It would also boost travel increasing consumer spending and it’s something many people rely on so arguably we should treat it the same way we treat public school or hospitals (for the non-US girlies). Companies spend so much making ticketing platforms and trying to stop fare evasion that the costs wouldn’t be that much (for example, it would cost $1.4B USD to give all of Australia free public transport for a year).

is your black heart happy knowing the kids are back in school suffering? movie theaters are empty again, grocery stores aren’t running rampant with parents and their nasty kids, pools are empty, streets are empty during the day during the week again, no kids on bikes, just quietness. traffic sucks again obviously, but are you happy anyways??

I’ve been using Apple Music for the past 3 years. I used to have Spotify student premium back in 2018/19 and it was a great experience having it. Now that Spotify brought back their free 3 months of premium, it is time for me to make the switch. I’ll just create a new account with another email and use a different credit card. That’s all. I can’t think of a worst tv show. It’s not only BAD and BORING, and dragged unnecessarily for too many seasons, but it has been proven to be harmul due to its glorifying of suicide and metal illness. It’s a very harmful portrayal of depression, suicide, sexual assault and other very real issues. A lot of the vitriol seem to be directed towards trans women. However, nearly every argument they have falls apart once you mention trans men. Like bathrooms. That’s their usual go to. However, they would freak out if they see a burly dude with a full on beard walking into the women’s room. They literally go on and on about women’s sports. But they don’t care about women’s sports, and have no issue with trans men in men’s sports. And it’s not like the numbers are different. There’s about an equal amount with both trans men and women.
