  2. EuroPride 2022 will take place in Belgrade, Serbia from September 12th to 18th, 2022. These past few weeks there's been a lot of heat in Serbia about the upcoming EuroPride, with far right parties demanding for it to be cancelled. The opposition spewed the usual homophobic **** (child abusers, family values, etc.) and they also claimed Serbia gave €40 million to the organizers, despite EuroPride not receiving any funds from government. Here's a short timeline of what went down this month. August 12th - Serbian Bishop calls for violence at EuroPride “I will curse all those who organize and participate in something like that, I can do that much. If I had a weapon, I would use it, I would use that force if only I had it, but I do not."
  3. According to reports, Uber has suffered a systems breach. This breach has prevented employees from accessing internal tools, like Slack. Publications in contact with the alleged hacker have seen screenshots showing access to "critical Uber IT systems" that include security software, Amazon Web Services console, Google Workspace email admin dashboard and the aforementioned Slack server. It would also appear that the hacker gained access to Uber's HackerOne vulnerability bug bounty account, leaving comments on a number of report tickets. This could yet prove to be one of the most valuable resources from the attacker's perspective, as it has been claimed that Uber's vulnerability reports were downloaded. Marten Mickos, the HackerOne CEO, has stated that the Uber account has been locked down and the company is working with Uber to assist in the investigation.

It started raining after a while and this huge rainbow appeared in the sky There are lots of tweets against it and #NefretYürüyüşüneHayır meaning SayNoToHatredWalk is trending on Twitter. This protest is crazy and the organisators are saying that they did it to protect children

  18. In a breakdown of the financial struggles Warner Bros. Discovery is currently facing by The Hollywood Reporter, an interesting piece of information emerged: Comcast has its eye on acquiring the struggling company and merging it with NBCUniversal. While the unification of Warner Bros. with Discovery seemed to be a beneficial one for all involved, things have quickly gone south. From the cancellation of Batgirl and Scoob: Holiday Haunt to the purging of numerous films and shows on HBO Max to massive layoffs, Warner Bros. Discovery's birth was quickly met with bad press and a legion of angered creatives. The highly publicized moves by new CEO David Zaslav saw WBD's stock plummet, and that's reportedly what has so enticed Comcast. Per THR, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts is eagerly awaiting April 2024, when the legal hurdles preventing the purchase of WBD will be out of the way. the HBO Max purge is reportedly saving the company millions, money that's sorely needed as it faces $50 billion in debt. x
