  5. I’m struggling right now. What has helped you?
  6. I had a friend who was experiencing health issues and complaining about his dating life, I told him he should lose weight to improve both and he got mad at me and said that was a fatphobic thing to say . I mean, objectively losing weight would help with both of those problems. I don't understand how it's fatphobic to state the obvious.
  7. I have a long plane ride coming up tonight and I'm in need of some new music to listen to ; Into anything pop, alt, dance, alt. rock, honestly open to a lot and would love some suggestions! Thank you!

  9. So I got my second tattoo of a male angel with wings. I love everything about it, except the right arm has too much shading it gets a bit hard to tell there is right hand over the there apart from the wings. I asked my tattoo artist if I should ignore it or something could be done to fix it a bit, and he advised me to add white ink to it but I have to wait for several weeks for my skin to heal. Fast forward, I got it redone a bit. But I'm not sure if this is the right thing to do Anyone has experience with this? There was very minor bleeding experience during the tattoo redo process, maybe my skin couldn't take it lol. I'm a bit worried I might get keloid or something or I just ruined the tattoo and make it worse The artist told me that it's gonna be okay though so maybe we should just trust him?
  10. Hi all, I’ve had an enjoyable time connecting with many of you, collecting funny gifs, and getting my fill of laughs over the years from reading your posts. I know many of us are strangers behind a screen, but we’ve definitely spent a lot of our lives on here together whether it be from stan wars or striking up conversations from common interests. I wanted to cut to the point with my post because many of us don’t read anything longer than a tweet and have short attention spans, but it’s too hard to leave a short message. You all deserve more than a tweet, so here’s what I want to share from my heart. I am taking a hiatus to be more active in other areas in my life. I need to exert better self control and manage my time better. Before I leave, I want to say a few things. #1 - If I’ve ever offended any of you over the years, please forgive me. It was never my intention. I know words can either be uplifting or hurtful. I have not always been consistent with demonstrating love to many of you in the way that God would want me to. When it comes to Taylor’s music, I know I’ve been prideful with my words. It’s truly silly to idolize and fight over music artists. So, I’m sorry if I ever created tension with any of you over music #2 - If I ever came off too strongly about my faith, please forgive me for that as well. A quick backstory - I haven’t always been a Christian until just a few years ago. I suffered growing up from abuse, living in darkness and isolation, being bullied, struggling with sexual addictions, and so much more. My life since discovering my relationship with Jesus has filled me with so much joy and hope. I am no longer defined by my laundry list of mistakes in the past or how others think of me. I found a love with God that never fluctuates and never disappoints me. I’ve also experienced his tangible presence in my life. When you fall in love with someone, you just have this big desire in your heart to want to share that person with the whole world and that’s what I wanted to do with you. That’s the way I want to be remembered in this world. I hope you all find peace, love, healing, and freedom from anything that’s holding you down, including any lies your thoughts may be accusing you of. Thanks for keeping me company all these years and thanks for reading my post if you made it this far. Love to you all

  12. https://variety.com/2023/global/news/doctor-who-jinkx-monsoon-drag-race-1235568659/ Jinkx Monsoon, winner of the fifth season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and the seventh season of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” has been added to the cast of the BBC’s long-running and immensely popular “Doctor Who” series. Monsoon is set to be playing a major role in the series. “In a galaxy of comets and supernovas, here comes the biggest star of all. Jinkx Monsoon is on a collision course with the TARDIS, and ‘Doctor Who’ will never be the same again,” showrunner Russell T Davies said. “I’m honored, thrilled, and utterly excited to join ‘Doctor Who!’ Russell T Davies is a visionary and a brilliant writer — I can’t wait to get into the weeds with him and the crew! I hope there’s room in the TARDIS for my luggage,” Monsoon said. The drag queen recently completed a successful run on Broadway as Matron “Mama” Morton in “Chicago” and also appears in the WOW Presents Plus original, “Sketchy Queens.” “Doctor Who” returns in November 2023 with three special episodes with David Tennant as the 14th Doctor to coincide with the 60th anniversary. Tennant and Catherine Tate are reprising their roles for the show’s 60th anniversary, and the BBC has confirmed that they will appear in three special episodes, set to air in November this year. The next Doctor, played by “Sex Education” star Ncuti Gatwa, will take control of the TARDIS after Tennant, with his first episode airing over the festive period. “Doctor Who” began in 1963 and follows the adventures of a Time Lord known as The Doctor, an extraterrestrial being with a human appearance. The Doctor travels the universe in a time-traveling spaceship called the TARDIS.

    Anyone miss their old body?

Hello! I'm in my late 20s, and I miss when I used to be 180 pounds. For reference, I'm 6'1, and I miss not having a belly and fitting very easily into size 36/38 pants. I felt so much sexier. I am on medication that causes weight gain, and I have endured a lot of stress in the past year, so I shouldn't give myself too much crap. I do have a gym membership, and I know how to eat properly, but dang it, some foods just taste so good and life can be stressful as it is. I'm not looking for sympathy, but I'm genuinely wondering if anyone misses their old body. I'm also wondering if this is a thing you think about as you get older.

  17. Those statues were found in Greek colonies in southern Italy 2500 years ago. Do you agree with their choice.
  18. I remember this was a popular right-wing talking point a few years back. Conservatives and Republicans claimed that Gen Z were shaping up to become the most conservative generation in decades and rejected all the progressive and liberal ideas of Millennials. As we all know now, it turned out that Gen Z became an even more liberal and accepting version of Millennials, especially about LGBTQ issues. I love how conservatives took the L and pretend this theory never happened.

What are some misnomers and red herrings that the pro-animal exploitation side of the argument uses to mischaracterize the pro-animal liberation segment of society?
  20. There are countless times in my life where a new guy I met (most of the time they are handsome) from work or acquaintances will invite me for a dinner or hang out then I thought it’s a date but turned out they are straight and they just genuinely enjoy my company. Am I the only one who is experiencing this phenomena? The hard thing is sometimes you hang out in a pub and it involves alcohol and I need to control myself because I gotta respect boundaries. Do you hang out with straight guys ATRL?
