  1. After Miley's first televised performance of Flowers at the Grammys last Sunday, she is everywhere. Viral content praising her well-deserved win, her talent, and charismatic personality is all over social media, leading to Flowers resurging on streaming platforms, charting at #14 on the Spotify Global chart today. But it looks like her entire catalog is getting a boost as well. Angels Like You, which became a viral hit last year, just re-entered the Spotify Global chart today. It's predicted to reach 1 billion Spotify streams this year.
  2. Currently has 750M Streams after 5 Months and is doing 5M+ Daily What a smash Pretty sure it’s been #1 in all months, at least once, since its release
  3. “Fast Car” racked up 949,000 official on-demand U.S. streams on Monday (Feb. 5), the day following the Grammys — up 241% from the 278,000 it notched the prior Monday (Jan. 29). That’s a big gain, though it’s nothing compared to how the song exploded in digital song sales, soaring 38,400% from a negligible amount to nearly 14,000. The Combs version also saw some huge gains over the same period, rising 37% in streams to nearly 1.6 million and nearly 3,900% in sales to just over 6,000. Could it be enough for Chapman’s “Fast Car,” which originally peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1988 to return to the chart? It’s not impossible, though it will have to do well enough to make the top half of the chart to be eligible for a re-entrance, due to Billboard chart rules about catalog songs. If it keeps cruising through the week on its early momentum though, it may have a shot — and as of Wednesday, it was still No. 2 and No. 52 on the daily U.S. charts for iTunes and Spotify, respectively. https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/tracy-chapman-fast-car-grammys-sales-streams-trending-up-1235602076/

  7. ‘Hiss’ Hits Global 200 at No. 1 Megan Thee Stallion’s “Hiss” opens atop the Billboard Global 200 with 39.6 million streams and 99,000 sold worldwide Jan. 26-Feb. 1. (In addition to the original version’s clean and explicit options released Jan. 26, an instrumental version and clean and explicit “chopped ‘n screwed” versions arrived Jan. 31.) As the song soars in atop the Global 200, Megan Thee Stallion becomes the first female rapper in a lead role to debut atop the chart. She adds her second No. 1, after Cardi B’s “WAP,” on which she’s featured, led for three weeks in September-October 2020. (Among female rappers, Latto has also entered the ranking at No. 1, as featured on Jung Kook’s “Seven,” in July 2023; the song went on to reign for, fittingly, seven weeks.) https://www.billboard.com/music/chart-beat/megan-thee-stallion-hiss-global-200-number-one-debut-1235599428/ A global female solo rap #1
