  3. Destiny's Child era did not get Australian singles, however The Writing's on the Wall did. Pre-Slaynitra: "Bills, Bills, Bills": #26 "Bug a Boo": #26 No certifications. Enter Slaynitra: "Say My Name": #1 | ARIA: 2× Platinum "Jumpin', Jumpin'": #2 | ARIA: Platinum First single to feature Michelle's vocals: "Independent Women Part I": #3 | ARIA: 2× Platinum "Survivor": #7 | ARIA: Platinum "Bootylicious": #4 | ARIA: Platinum "Emotion": #17 | ARIA: Gold "Nasty Girl": #10 | ARIA: Gold "Lose My Breath": #3 | ARIA: Platinum "Soldier": #3 | ARIA: Gold "Girl": #5 | ARIA: Gold "Cater 2 U": #15 Why did Michelle not get an Australian tour for her iconic neo-soul/gospel debut Heart to Yours? Australia gave the world Hillsongs...they're here for Christ too. Or what about the criminally-underrated pop gem Unexpected? AUS clearly loves the up-tempos. We Break the Dawn would have been a cute top 10 for ha. They were here for Queen.

  7. Ed Sheeran's music is in the most consumed ever in the British isles, with Taylor lagging at a distant second. Source: So as Swifties are saying that Taylor has or will surpass Madonna, is it safe to say that Ed Sheeran has surpassed the Beatles and MJ??!! Discuss

  13. Additionally, it was the highest charting Halloween song by a female artist on the global chart: 87. Lady Gaga: Bloody Mary (1.65M) 121. Ava Max: Sweet But Psycho (1.42M) 128. Rihanna: Disturbia (1.4M) 183. Britney Spears: Toxic (1.21M) A Halloween Classic Is Born!
  14. This is a great big world’s first song to do this and Christina’s second. The Grammy winning song smashed in 2013/2014.
  15. Despite reaching a low of 4.9M streams last Tuesday, JungKook's Seven has seemingly bounced back and even gained 800k streams yesterday, which is unheard of considering Sunday is the weakest day on Spotify. The song has been receiving strange fluctuating updates since it's release and even though it's apparently the biggest Spotify hit of all time (it just beat Flowers for fastest song to 1B), it doesn't seem to be breaking these records on any other platform.
  16. Pain, the first official track released from her mixtape To Hell With It... is showing signs of rebirth on Spotify. The song is getting around 900k streams daily on Spotify, besides being released more than 2 years ago, and PinkPantheress launching her debut album era with lead single Mosquito (nowhere to be found, sadly) Pain is #135 on Spotify US today (and scoring almost 400M streams on Spotify to date, being her 2nd biggest song on the platform)
  17. UPDATE 10/9/23: Update 10/31/23: Usher’s new album, COMING HOME, will be released the same day as the Super Bowl, February 11th.
  18. But I was told that Taylor is a frontloaded flop. Every release the first week sales thread would be filled with comments saying "cant wait wait to see that drop" " longevity>>>>big debuts" So this comes as a surprise
