This was arguably the best song to come out of the Oral Fixation era and got overshadowed by Hips Don't Lie. But IMO it's the better song and was the first all Spanish song to be performed at the VMAs. I thought it was a missed opportunity for her to not include it in her VMA Vanguard set so let's praise it and give it its flowers now:

If our faves were all casted to be on a season of Big Brother, who would win and why? For those unaware it's a competition show where people live in a house and vote one person out every week until there's only 2 remaining, and then at the end the evictees vote one of the final 2 as the winner for a cash prize. They play competitions/games for power and stuff too and form alliances

I was just listening to this hymn and it got me thinking if it could’ve smashed Ala bleeding love if it was released at her peak. It’s got the classic feel to me imo and wonder if it being released on a video game soundtrack hurt it’s chances at all of being taken serious etc.
