    What OR2 should sound like?

Will it have heavier Pop-Rock influence as the trend moves towards there? Or she will go Pop Pop with blonde hair and debut Ian Kirkpatrick produced lead single? Or maybe she will go 2000s and release her Stars Are Blind?
  2. She upgraded the TOTL sound I think, get this queen to 1000 monthly listeners
  3. 17 #1 Singles 39 Top Ten Singles Spice Girls are the girl group with the most chart-topping single, among groups, only three - The Beatles, Westlife and Take That - have more Number 1s than them. 11. Daily YouTube views (via kworb): Lady Gaga - 3,35M Katy Perry - 3,24M Adele - 3,22M Rihanna - 2,99M Beyonce - 2,39M Even though YouTube isn´t that important these days anymore, I was suprised that Adele is so low on the list despite her latest release being less than 6 months away. Gaga really struggled on YouTube before "A Star Is Born". It seems like she recovered pretty well. Are you surprised by these numbers?

    Did music die in 2022?

With no exciting music releases to be found almost 5 months into 2022, can we officially conclude that the music industry is over? Why Are There So Few New Hits in 2022? Prior to Harry Styles' "As It Was" hitting the Billboard Hot 100, only a handful of songs released this year have made a ... 15. Avril Lavigne without a doubt has had the most consistent impact of this millenium. 2000-2002: Boybands and Pop Girls dancing 2002: Avril debuts and has best selling female album that year with 16 million copies sold that decade. Complicated, Sk8er Boi and I’m With You become the first three singles by a solo artist (male or female) to consecutively top overall radio from a debut album. She solidifies the era as LEGENDARY. Let Go goes onto sell 20 million copies. 2003/2004: Record labels scramble to create the next Lavigne and the musical landscape completely changes from pop to pop/rock - rock music. She did THAT. Hilary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson, Fefe Dobson etc. all race to be the next Avril. 2004: Under My Skin is released and Avril tours 6 continents on the Bonez Tour solidifying her status as a GLOBAL icon. Under My Skin goes onto sell 10 million copies. 2005: Paramore are signed. Hayley later reveals she was signed due to labels looking for next Avril. She admits she’d never have been signed if Avril didn’t debut. 2007: The Best Damn Thing is released. Physical sales are declining. Girlfriend triggers the digital and streaming eras and creates hope for record labels across the world to engage in market available on the internet. Girlfriend becomes best ever selling digital song of all time in 2007 and becomes first ever song to reach 100,000,000 streams on YouTube and on ANY platform ever. Her management Nettwerk admitted they were shocked when Girlfriend produced 14 million dollars revenue from streaming on YouTube alone. 2011: What The Hell peaks #11 on BBhot100 despite RCA giving it away for free for 3 days of the tracking week. Goodbye Lullaby Marks a fall in her status yet goes ok to sell 3-4 million copies. Remains a dominant force on YouTube. 2013-2019: Lyme Disease and career lull. 2019: Head Above Water the single is released and becomes a big hit for her standards having 200,000,000 streams on Spotify, vevo certified and certified platinum in the United States. 2019-2022: an array of artist have labelled Avril as direct influences on their music. Ed Sheeran quotes that the music industry NEEDS an Avril Lavigne. Adele says she listens to Let Go often to this day. Willow, Billie and Olivia some of the biggest female acts and main pop girls of today cite Avril as their biggest influence. Avrils impact your a directly felt and present on todays #1 hits and Grammy nominated tracks and albums. 2022: Love Sux is released and debuts #9 on hot 100 and top 10 on all major markets. Something no other pop girls from the 2000s can accomplish anymore, but Avril does. Out of all acts this millenium. She by far has the furthest reaching impact across all 22 years!
  16. Seems like they've reviewed everyone and their grandma by now... with the exception of Britney. Neither under new releases, nor under their catalogue Sunday releases. Why is that?

    Who are Dua's peers?

Miss Lipa seems to be like Ariana, at the in between age where's not Gen Z (her fans are leftover Britney & Zayn stans) but i was told by ATRL experts that she's waaay above my fav and already up there with the greats or MPG's such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, Madonna, Taylor, Gaga, etc. Are those really her peers or she's more in line with her co-H&M playlist pop girlies? as seen on her similar artists from spotify below

Which of these lead singles that are hated by the respective artist's fan base is bigger?
  22. First of all comment your fave and I'll include them! I wanted to do Lana but she would be number one since HM account is an anomaly lol. But leave a comment with your fave and I'll do it. So I was running a simple 5 minute IG stats test and I came across different rankings. The most important: The active follower ratio (based on likes*) #1 Olivia Rodrigo (16.25%) #2 Harry Styles (11.5%) #3 Karol G (10%) #4 Adele (7.9%) #5 Billy Eilish (4,8%) #6 Dua Lipa (3.2%) #7 Ariana Grande (1.8%) #8 Selena Gomez (1.8%) #9 Beyoncé (1.7%) #10 Taylor Swift (1.4%) * ratio calculated upon followers, avg like of past 15/12 posts (should be calculated with impressions but I don't have access to that metric, likes metric is the closest one) Average likes - Selena Gomez (5.9M) #1 Ariana Grande (5.8M) - Karol G (5.1M) #2 Billy Eilish (4.9M) #3 Harry Styles (4.6M) #4 Beyonce (4.3M) #5 Olivia Rodrigo (3.9M) #6 Adele (3.9) #7 Taylor Swift (3.1M) #8 Dualipa (2.7M) I think the active follower thing is interesting. Youtube and TikTok are planning on implementing it (automatically unfollow a celeb when you don't interact with them in a month for example) and it would boost users into engaging more with them. It would also wipe out all ghost followers or bought followers, therefore giving a more accurate look into social media stats for brands and stuff like that to work with artists/influencers.
  23. The Backstreet Boys is coming up on their 30-year anniversary in 1993. Some members have come and gone along the way (AJ entered rehab for a bit, Kevin left the group for 5 years), but they are still standing and thriving. 1. will BTS have their longevity? 2. will they be able to do in 30 years what BSB does now? sell out arenas on every continent (as their last tour did) and still go #1? (like their last album did)
