    Ava Max outpeaks Camilla. Surpised?

Canadian Hot 100 this week 7. Tiesto, Ava Max - The Motto 8. Camila Cabello, Ed Sheeran - Bam Bam What went RIGHT for the #2 UK album charter (which is not easy to get, not everybody has that to their credit) one billion streamed SOLO hitmaker Amanda Koci to be outcharting Camilla and Ed Sheeran alongside with a niché EDM DJ?
  2. Roar and Dark Horse have over 3B views and still gaining rapidly. You would think the songs are classics. But were they inflated by Katy’s team to make it seem like she was getting bigger after Teenage Dream?
  3. 14M views 3.2M views Why is their version superior with more YT views currently? Why can't the jock and science geek compete with the bougie blondie and her gay brother?

Why is this the BEST song of ALL TIME?

I was casually listening to Kilo Kish's new album and after the album finished the radio started to play. After couple of songs, this was the song that played. To be completely honest, listening to this song is an experience every time. Now tell me, why is this the best song of all time? Also, Don't Forget.mp3 to stream American Gurl by Kilo Kish.
  5. I was just thinking how most acts we stan either have peaked years ago, or have peaked more recently... I mean, let's see: Adele - No way is she ever topping 20 or even 25. Taylor - Peaked in 2014/2015 with 1989. May get the occasional hit but her commercial peak has happened already. Her fanbase will always get her those #1 albums and record breaking tours. Camila - Well...she was never huge to begin with but these past few weeks have been very telling, imo. Ariana - Thank You,Next was most likely her peak. Positions was already weaker...could she re-peak and have her biggest era ever yet? Rihanna - She basically retired, doesn't care for this anymore. Peaked around Loud, Talk That Talk eras. (over 10 years ago) The rest of the entire generation from the 00's stars that i haven't mention won't peak during their 30's or 40's (Britney, Bey, P!nk, Kelly Clarkson, Nelly Furtado, etc) so i won't mention any more of them. I'm not shading for any of the girls i mentioned so far btw...but some had such huge peaks that it will be impossible to repeat or surpass. Who do you think from these current acts that we now know still have the change of peaking? Dua Lipa - could be a contender...she surprised everyone with her 2nd era and her performing skills are clearly improving so much. I feel she won't let anyone breath when she releases her 3rd album. Could she have an even bigger era next? Doja Cat - I feel like whatever she releases next will be huge. If she plays her cards right she can still grow so much as an artist and this definitely doesn't feel like her peak. Lil Nas X - He's clearly developing his career and he is so outside of the box...like no one expected the Old Town Road guy to have a career progression like he had so far. I still remember ATRL saying he'd be a one hit wonder (even tho Panini is 6 x Platinum ) and he's already having a 3rd one this current era. His 2nd single lasted forever as well Is there anyone else? I honestly feel the streaming era made everything so unpredictable...
  6. The official third single of 'Familia' has departed the Hot 100 after a single week on the chart, but in my opinion it will rebound and smash at the end, since the song has been sent to radio and is on TTH at the moment! What do you think, ATRL?
  7. It's a difficult market that not everyone can crack. Has your fave managed to do it? Cannonball Japan (Japan Hot 100) - 82

    Lea Michele won?

After the middling reviews of the revival of "Funny Girl" on Broadway, it seems that Lea Michele ended up with the last laugh and the general public is in agreement. https://twitter.com/itsnotjess123/status/1518599236895625218?t=k9fecBeTZBvZvW8ExIn-kQ&s=09 Surprised? As a talented person once said: "I've got this new beginning and I will fly, I’ll fly like a cannonball"

  12. As ATRL knows, Stans overhype past albums and their impact. So in this post, I will ask ATRL to take their Stan glasses off, and actually list albums/eras that left a huge mark on music history. Albums that instantly come to mind for me: Thriller Dark Side of the Moon Purple Rain The Joshua Tree Nevermind Beyonces self titled album 21 The Marshal Mathers LP Thats just a short list, now it’s ATRLs turn

  14. As well all know (at least those of us with taste), NFR! is Lana Del Rey's magnum opus, something extraordinary and multilayered from start to finish. We've wanted her to create something even better and, while the last two albums are cute, they were unable to (and maybe intentionally so) reach the highs of Norman. However, this upcoming album feels a little different...there's something in the wind. Here are the reasons why NFR! might possibly get topped with Lana's next album: Reason #1 Almost immediately after Blue Banisters came out, Lana started teasing the NFR! era style a lot in her rare public appearances and posts. See the signature black jacket style she used in the music video for "the Greatest" and the de-facto promo shot during NFR!: Reason #2 She told a fan during the Variety Awards that the next album is "even better" than the ones she put out in 2021. She also never says this about her albums. Reason #3 She's working with Jack Antonoff again. Enough said. Reason #4 Jack mentioned in a recent interview that Lana and he have a set of "bombastic" songs unreleased that they worked on which didn't fit on either Norman or Chemtrails. Could this be for the album they're working on right now? Reason #5 Lana feels inspired to tour again. She made it clear last year she wasn't going to do a tour with her latest two albums, which makes sense in hindsight since they're composed of these quiet, deep, introspective tracks. Maybe this album of "bombastic" songs will coincide with a return to her touring? Reason #6 Lana & Jack are goofing off in the studio together. If you were around during the NFR! sessions, you'd remember they were constantly fooling around in the studio and taking fun pics/videos. Something magical is going on right now, is the hunch. Reason #7: Reason #8 https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2022/05/23/jack-antonoff-pop-music-collaboration-lorde-taylor-swift -- Is Lana's official magnum opus coming?

  19. Worst downfall: Katy Perry or Christina Aguilera
