I love Max Martin's ability to work with rather than for other artists. He can work with quite a few different kinds of artists and bring out some really great hooks that still feel like they're part of the artist's musical identity. It always feels like he's entering the artist's world instead of the opposite.

It seems like with the rise of TikTok, people are only now discovering artists their catalogues and older songs. Just look at how Madonna’s streaming numbers keep rising. This might also explain the drought on the charts right now. People are listening more and more to older songs
