We know Reputation and her next album obviously will sell a million. But sometime next year she'll be releasing the Taylor's version of her debut. Since Swifties barely even care about this (underrated) album, how much do you think it will sell with Taylor's power at an all time high?

All the signs point towards it. She has the exact same appeal as Rihanna did early in her career. Is Tyla Rihanna's heir apparent?

Drake came HARD for Kendrick, Metro Boomin + the other rappers that came for him recently on his new diss track. He even took shots at Taylor. Yet, he didn't mention anything about Megan who by far read him for filth on her comeback single Hiss Why? Afraid of another beat down -

Pop girl picks ATRL will care about: 97 Christina Milian - "Dip It Low" 87 Annie - "Heartbeat" 82 Sia - "Breathe Me" 80 Missy Elliott - "I'm Really Hot" 78 Loretta Lynn f/ Jack White - "Portland Oregon" 72 Black Eyed Peas - "Let's Get It Started" 67 Avril Lavigne - "My Happy Ending" 62 Gwen Stefani - "What You Waiting For?" 59 Jill Scott - "Golden" 49 Gretchen Wilson - "Redneck Woman" 45 Evanescence - "My Immortal" 42 Nina Sky f/ Jabba - "Move Ya Body" 39 Kelly Clarkson - "Breakaway" 35 M.I.A. - "Galang" 34 Ciara f/ Petey Pablo - "Goodies" 32 Beyonce - "Naughty Girl" 30 Hilary Duff - "Come Clean" 29 Gwen Stefani f/ Eve - "Rich Girl" 27 Britney Spears - "Everytime" 23 Destiny's Child - "Lose My Breath" 19 Ashlee Simpson - "Pieces Of Me" 18 JoJo - "Leave (Get Out)" 16 Alicia Keys - "If I Ain't Got You" 14 Beyonce - "Dangerously In Love 2" 10 Ciara f/ Missy Elliott - "1, 2 Step" 09 Yeah Yeah Yeahs - "Maps" 02 Kelly Clarkson - "Since U Been Gone" 01 Britney Spears - "Toxic" The addictive love that Britney Spears describes in "Toxic" could easily translate to the habit-forming song itself. "There's no escape, I can't wait/ I need a hit, baby, give me it": To hear "Toxic" once is to need to hear it again — immediately. Is it the high-pitched strings from Bloodshy & Avant? Or the venomous lyrics from the Swedish production duo alongside Cathy Dennis and Henrik Jonback? Or maybe the cheeky superspy-spoofing music video? (It's impossible to hear this song without immediately picturing Spears in a futuristic blue flight-attendant uniform.) Whatever it is, the In the Zone earworm infected everyone within its reach, as it topped Billboard's Pop Airplay and Dance Club Songs charts (as well as our staff's own Best Britney Spears Songs list). It earned Spears her first, and so far only, Grammy (for best dance recording). And even Jay-Z chose it as his favorite Britney song in a random 2013 Twitter Q&A ("jamming my G"). The song's most enduring legacy, though, might be its whiplash-inducing range of covers, from Local H's rocker, to The Chapin Sisters' folk version, to Mark Ronson's ODB-featuring hip-hop spin, to, naturally, a cappella takes from both the Pitch Perfect franchise and Glee (twice). What all the above endorsements add up to is that "Toxic" has seemingly become Spears' most universally beloved song, using her already-established superpowers (the unmistakable breathy vocals, her magnetic onscreen presence and flawless choreography) and adding an electronic pop sound that put a legend who could have been forever linked to the '90s instead at the forefront of top 40's new frontier. The results were anything but toxic, but they were still definitely lethal. – K.A. https://www.billboard.com/lists/2004-songs-best/britney-spears-toxic/ Perfect choice for #1 -

Being considered decade-defining masterpieces by their stanbases while not rated high (like rated average) by other stanbases or non-harcore stans. I'll start. Blackout by Britney stans. Born This Way by Gaga stans. Folklore/Evermore by Taylor stans. I'd put Invasion of Privacy too but it's completely forgotten now by ATRL since the numbers fell so I don't think it fits there well. As the opposite: NFR! by Lana Plastic Hearts by Miley Back To Black by Amy Winehouse

Even as a diehard Kim Petras fan, it's safe to say for the commonfolk of ATRLers, she is not a beloved figure on here. Having paved her way for years in the indie/bubblegum pop realm, she unexpectedly crossed over in a huge way featuring with "Unholy," landing her first Grammy in the process, but has since failed to capitalize on that. "Alone" with Nicki Minaj flopped, no other real single from Feed The Beast came out. Her shelved album Problématique was unexpectedly un-shelved and released with zero fanfare or promo. Feed The Beast Tour happened and seemed to be a surprising success. Sl*t Pop Miami was randomly dropped in Feb 2024, purely for her existing fans and noting the cult classic the original EP has since become over the past couple years. Kim's 2023 was actually super busy and hectic, but now what should she do? Should Kim lean into just worrying about her existing fan base, with cute gay bops, glittery pop gems, the long-awaited Turn Off The Light: Volume 3, or is it time for miss thing to continue to pave her lane as a bonafide pop star in her own right and keep aiming for her own solo hit?

"Give Me All Your Luvin'" is a dance-pop song, with elements of new wave and disco. Commercially, the song attained success, topping the charts in Canada, Finland, Hungary, and Israel in the United States, it became Madonna's 38th top ten hit. Pluggedin: Billboard: Slant: Why were the critics so harsh on this song? Did you grow to like it in the end?
