And not Beyoncé, Ariana and Sabrina blocked her all the way up to the day album is releases. Love me some Dua but this album/era is non-eventful.

For how enormous Royals was, I'm kind of stunned that it's only pulling 344k daily. And Lorde's entire discography is only doing 2.3 million By comparison, Lana is doing 1.3 million daily with Summertime Sadness and 1 million with Yes to Heaven - two songs with the same total as Lorde's discography. Melanie Martinez has nearly double the daily streams of Lorde. Halsey has Without Me doubling Royal's streams and more lead streams (2 million more total). Why couldn't Lorde serve longevity in the streaming era like her peers?

Can we appreciate more , what Gaga managed to achieve with just her debut album? With just an album she managed to become an A list pop star and people were already calling her the new Queen of Pop. The album was labeled as a flop, but it might not seem this way when you consider that it had: -a gargantuan hit -a six-digit debut - two top 10 hits - 79 points on MC (her most acclaimed album) - multiple Grammy wins (including ROTY), an AOTY nomination - one of her longest-charting albums (more weeks than Bangers) Apart from a few duds, the album is also very solid with amazing songs like Violet Chemistry, Handstand, and Jaded.
