  1. While it would be nice for artists to all get along, many times artists fall out after working on songs together. A recent example of a fallout between collaborators is Drake and Kendrick Lamar, who previously worked together on tracks like "Buried Alive" (2011) and "Poetic Justice" (2013). We can clearly see their relationship has soured since then, as evident by their diss tracks "Push Ups" and "Euphoria". What are other examples of artists that have issues with artists they previously collaborated with?
  2. Global Spotify: Euphoria #3 Like That #15 Both songs directly address Drake, and the GP is saying YES. is the GP finally turning against him and choosing a side?

Inspired by this one liner from The Line of Best Fit's recent Dua Lipa - Radical Optimism review: What are some other notable drags from music reviewers?
  4. Three of the most notable superproducers of recent times all of a similar history - ex lead singer of a pop punk band whose producing breakthrough came via a collaboration with a young woman pop star. 5. This has aged so well imo.. is there any other songs from 2015 that still sounds fresh?
  6. So i have given RO 6 listens from the start to finish. There is not a single bad song but nothing hits as hard as Physical or Love Again did when i first heard those songs in 2020. I also see alot of other users share this sentiment on the album thread. So now what exactly does RO lack that FN excelled in?
  7. imagine this darkwave vibe with Dua's husky vocals and serving cvnt vamp cottagecore
  8. TS and Illusion were just bad single choices in comparison. The album still not great but at least she could have small hits with Houdini and WD I blame her dad. She needs someone that tells her NO and makes her do promo. Her dad it's going to do that
  9. I think he just doesn't work as a pop producer And it makes sense. He takes 4 years to make his albums. He is not going to serve that quality in 3 months.
  10. Not gonna lie the album is boring and the singles were the best choices. Should Dua insist on this with a rerelease or act like it never happened? I think that if this was acclaimed she should have rerelease in the hopes of having some noms but now that it is a flop on all fronts she needs to start a new project now if she doesn't want to kill her career And the most important part is to fire her dad
  11. Has Ariana Grande lowkey surpassed Christina Aguilera ? They pretty much have the same number of studio albums despite Ariana debuting around 15 years later and I feel like Ari is a much prominent figure in pop music with a more impressive career overall. What's your opinion on this ?
  12. It's being outstreamed by WWWY/LITD and is on par with SML/AIA while being the lead single to this huge come back/album. The song was everywhere and it's lowkey doing average among the other 25 songs. It's also being easily outstreamed by the 21 singles:
  13. and they were seen meeting and hanging out in NYC a few days ago - maybe our girlies were discussing the third album curse. thoughts?

Was ESV a success in retrospect?

The album was labeled as a flop, but it might not seem this way when you consider that it had: -a gargantuan hit -a six-digit debut - two top 10 hits - 79 points on MC (her most acclaimed album) - multiple Grammy wins (including ROTY), an AOTY nomination - one of her longest-charting albums (more weeks than Bangers) Apart from a few duds, the album is also very solid with amazing songs like Violet Chemistry, Handstand, and Jaded.

  17. Pop music is allegedly being purged. Who will be the next victim of The End of Poptimism this year?
  18. Lady Gaga, the queen of musical metamorphosis, has always kept us on our toes with her ever-evolving style. But lately, there's been some buzz about her revisiting that light, bubbly pop vibe from her early days, like in "Eh, Eh (Nothing Else I can Say)." With Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso" stirring up nostalgia, maybe it's time for Gaga to serve us a similar dose of light pop and feel-good tunes. After all, who wouldn't want to bask in the sunshine of her upbeat melodies once again? So, do we want this lighter, more whimsical Gaga to make a comeback?
