  1. In the competitive, diverse and packed years of the 1990s, we have seen various artists come and go but five main forces- Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Madonna and Toni Braxton were constant powerhouses throughout the decade. While Madonna took the backseat on the commercial aspect during the early 1990s, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston became the incredibly successful and famous celebrities known for their acclaimed hits sans Fantasy and I Have Nothing, enjoying the zenith of their success till the late 90s. Their impact ushered in a new era of vocalists with melodic and strong vocals which was not seen since the end of the 1970s brought in a new era of pop singers. With the end of the mid-90s, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston still enjoyed popularity with the release of hits albums like Butterfly and Your Love is my Love but female artists such as Celine Dion and Toni Braxton came into the forefront of the scene. While Toni may be a controversial choice for ATRL, her first two albums were immensely huge- selling over 10 million copies and was featured in the top 10 biggest artists of the 1990s according to Billboard. Even Madonna was enjoying a revival with her new brandished image channelling the Something To Remember and Ray of Light eras. So which of these huge artists had the ultimate dominance of the 90s'. 2. 14 years ago, we got this iconic bop from a variety of female vocalists who were near or at the height of their respective careers at the time (from left to right - Keyshia Cole, Leona Lewis, Fergie, Ciara, Mariah Carey, Bey, Mary J Blige, Rihanna, Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Ashanti, Natasha Bedingfield, Nicole Scherzinger) If we were to get a 2022-23 version of this, which current artists do you think would take part in it? Please discuss -- and no trolling/bating.
  3. Girls Degradation's comeback and INVU (album and song) were great successes but some ppl are claiming it was all a fluke. Something in my gut feels like they could be right but like...they also could be wrong. Will whatever she releases next smash like INVU or will it perform like the criminally underrated "Can't Control Myself" another bop of hers that did not get the attention it deserved because it was too ahead of its time Discuss belur

  7. What's your favorite LiLo song?
  8. Post all your favorite dance/house/edm remixes of any songs you enjoy. Here's some of mine Those above are ones I constantly listen to And below are even more that I love
  9. Elton John has achieved 2 top 10 singles in the last year by reworking his old songs and featuring a younger artist. Cold Heart was a WW smash and Hold Me Closer was very successful too, becoming Elton's first hits in over 15 years. With this being said… should Madonna try this strategy? It worked very well with Elton.
  10. The fashion, the lyrics, the tryhard-urban production, the video effects … it all seems like a parody of the mid-2000s nowadays. The song still bops tho

Hey! You! Jump in this Ride!

It’s real nice & slippery inside Wise guy, come get this pie Ri-ri-ride it in style she ate the other pop girlies up with this 2012 album track tbh.
  14. Unapologetic turns 10 which means Rihanna has only released 1 album (Anti) in the past DECADE. Time flies
  15. Bad Blood and its explosive MV was the bigger worldwide hit in 2015. But over the years, Style and Wildest Dreams have garnered more streams. Could it be that talent won over gimmicks?
  16. Nicki Minaj's two biggest songs this year - one of which is a legit solo hit she's gotten in almost a decade and the other of which is most definitely a song, failed to gain any Grammy nominations this year :/ After starting deliberate MESS with Latto over a submission, it turns out the Grammy's did not deem her song fitting for the pop or rap categories altogether. Doja, Latto and Glorilla are all other female rappers that have been nominated this year Are you surprised at this turn of events?
  17. Her latest tweets have received a crazy amount of interactions (over 150k likes for the first one, and almost 80k likes for the second one). Do you think she could make some noise or is this Twitter hype meaningless as some cases we've seen in the past?
  18. She's focusing on acclaim from soundtrack music with "Lift Me Up" and "Born Again" And her postpartum magnum opus "Ray of Light" is coming after she sweeps up some awards.

    Best Maroon 5 Deep Cuts??

I was kinda re listening to all the old songs I love from them and While I love Beautiful Goodbye and It Was Always You, I was kinda wondering what else they have in store, I've been going through Hands All Over and was pleasently surprised, so, what's your fave Deep Cut from the biggest sell outs in Music History.
  20. After listening to Tukoh Taka, which is most definitely music, one thing remains clear - elusive Saudi Arabian target Shakira struck gold with Waka Waka As always, people will be sprinting en masse to stream Waka Waka and the also excellent Wavin' Flag. This migration is a TRADITION that the GP follows. Why? How did these two WIN? I'm listening to WKW and whew, the way it goes off
