base talk Eras Tour is making Taylor albums more distinctive in minds of GP.
FolkLover1989 posted a topic in Base
I don't know if I am the only one But lately with Eras Tour I am noticing many people noticing the different between 'Eras' Mostly GP doesn't care that much about Eras and forget them once album rollout is over But with Eras Tour, Taylor is letting people imagine each era as a different entity. This is not a Greatest Hits Tour but more so an Eras Tour describing her Journey so far. This is honestly a great career move. Not only does it increase awareness of Taylor's different type of albums and her artistic endeavor but now everyone can have their own Era they relate too. It creates a sense of attachment in GP. I think this was a great career move. I think other MPGs should follow suit cause this was a brilliant move For example: Celebrities don't usually mention Era but now they are. -

base talk Why did Bloody Mary already leave Spotify charts unlike other Tik Tok songs?
Natawie posted a topic in Base
We have all seen how quickly Gaga's Bloody Mary surged in streaming due to its massive Tik Tok trend. It has happened to many other songs before and it will happen to even more songs in the future. Nonetheless Bloody Mary seems to be an outliner when compared to other old and previously lesser known viral Tik Tok hits from 2022 such as Taylor's Don't Blame Me, The Weekend's Die For You, Miguel's Sure Thing and Chris Brown's Under The Influence. For context: Bloody Mary's last entry on Spotify charts is from March 19th and it hasn't re-entered ever since whereas the aforementioned Tik Tok hits are comfortably sitting in the top 200 of Spotify to this day. Breakdown of Spotify stats as of March 30th: Bloody Mary - 285M (+1M, not charting WW) Die For You (solo) - 1.37B (+2.8M, #19 WW) Sure Thing - 785M (+1.9M, #51 WW) Under The Influence - 763M (+1.8M, #60 WW) Don't Blame Me - 526M (+1.3M, #121 WW) Why do you think Bloody Mary burned out faster on Spotify than other comparable Tik Tok hits from last year? Discuss. None of them are currently on TTH. -

base talk Are good vocalists inspired by good vocalists and bad by bad?
Rv1709 posted a topic in Base
It’s always interesting to hear real singers mention actual vocalists as their inspiration. For ex: Christina aguilera inspired by etta James, Ariana always cites Mariah. and the usually weak vocalists such as Taylor get usually inspired by other weak singers like Lana. is there a pattern here? -
She pushed the boundaries for female artists in terms of being sexual and fearless before anyone else. How would you rate this performance of hers?
