Every once in a while surfing through the stan internet space I notice bits of little monsters' impact on the way stans interact with each other. First of all, little monsters were the first online pop music fanbase to be officially given a name by their fave as well as be recognized by the media at large by that given name. All the other fanbases started getting their own names shortly after. We were also the first fanbase to brand the haters of our fave - the infamous Obsessed Gaga Haters, known as OGHs. After this term was coined we started seeing all sorts of other hater names - OAHs, OBHs, OTHs, etc. All this without even mentioning a whole plethora of iconic little monster catchphrases that are widely used by other stans today ("Yass Queen", "extremely stable which is a good sign", "she is winning again", etc.). Considering everything written above, do you agree that we little monsters impacted the modern stan culture the most?

Controversial or unpopular opinion I guess but Don't Start Now works better as an album track for me. Same with To The Moon And Back. As a single it was really disappointing actually but it turned out to work fine in the context of the album. You know what to do!

base talk [UPDATE: LANA CONFIRMS!] Is Lana reaching out to her hot daddy cop ex-boyfriend?
Ice Cream Skies posted a topic in Base
Earlier this week, Lana Del God announced her new 16-track, 80 minute long magnum opus, Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd (out March 10). Along with this, she released the heartbreaking title track, which features a simple, recurring hook of "Don't forget me". Lana admitted during a Livestream with fans last year that her break up with Sean Larkin hit her particularly hard and "broke her heart". Many of her recent songs are suspected to be written about him as well (Chemtrails, Tulsa Jesus Freak, LMLYLAW, Blue Banisters, Text Book, to name a few). A fan pointed out that Lana randomly announced her new album AND premiered the new single on December 7, a Wednesday, which also happens to be Sean's birthday. In addition, billboards announcing the new album went up in... Tulsa, Oklahoma - Sean's hometown and where he's still based. What do you think, ATRL? Is Lana sending a pointed message to the man who broke her heart the hardest? Is Lana telling him "Don't forget me"? -

base talk Is Animal by Kesha one of the most impactful albums from this century?
Julia Fox posted a topic in Base
It really defined the pop scene of the early 10's and also has influenced a lot of underground pop artists from the SoundCloud wave that are doing hyperpop and its variants and really pulled the abuse of autotune for a concept/vision route that Charli XCX and a lot of rappers and people of the underground pop scene are doing it while getting praised and a I think it haven’t received enough credit for its impact. -
