  1. This is definitely the biggest missed single opportunity from Glory (No, being a pre-release track doesn't count)
  2. Aka the song ATRL won't shut up about years down the road ? Both were huge comebacks for the 2000s artistes in the 2020s decade and global smashes
  3. As like being aware about every update on their personal lives, buying every record and merch from them, being completely invested on their sales/success and every aspect of their career. Like those BTS fans who make crowfundings to make their faves debut at #1 and threaten to sue Billboard because their fave dropped some positions. Or those swifties who buy 5 different vynils of the same album and write open letters to her because they don’t feel her new boyfriend.
  4. MAYBE THERE'S A SHARK IN THE WATER I CAUGHT THEM BARKING AT THE MOON BETTER BE SOOOON
  5. Olivia will be releasing something soon-ish. Do you think she'll try to block Enchanted TV and Speak Now TV from going #1? Thots?

  7. Over the last year, many ATRLers said Olivia Rodrigo was left in 2021. Common opinions were: 1. Nobody would care without the love triangle drama attached 2. She waited too long to follow up SOUR 3. Gen Z moved on Today she released a newsletter hinting at the beginning of the OR2 era starting soon. She managed to go mega viral and be top trending on Twitter without any titles, lyrics, or dates posted. It appears the world is still very much ready for new Olivia! Surprised?
  8. Is Olivia Rodrigo's second album going to bigger than Billie's Happier Than Ever? What do you think?

    The most unexpected successful songs/albums

What albums/songs you thought could never be successful and have been a big success ?
  10. Many people voiced dissatisfaction with 'Music For A Sushi Restaurant' following 'Late Night Talking' as the third single from 'Harry's House' (the music video was still visually gorgeous and campy fun in my opinion though). Do you think 'Satellite' is a good follow-up single to MFASR, or would you have preferred another track? 🤔 I personally feel like Cinema (radio edit) or Daylight would've worked best for Pop radio and playlisting.
  11. Sold out 2 shows in Alexandra Palace in London! She sang her timeless classics and her current hits! She’s serving vocals and choreography unlike some other girls. 10,000 people singing to “I’m With You”! I was there and It was magical! Avril can still manage to do a sold out world tour 21 years after her debut….. are you surprised?
  12. Given she's never done a proper greatest hits show, is up and moving again better than she has in years in rehearsal videos, will be doing Vogue with throwbacks to original ball culture, has a huge disco ball that's been spotted in rehearsals, and has what appears to be her biggest stage ever... ...will Madonna have *the* tour of 2023 when it launches in Vancouver later this summer?
  13. Is Karma real? That’s a question investigative Swifties have been trying to answer for years now. Across numerous breakdown videos and Twitter threads, Taylor Swift’s Easter egg-loving fans have been piecing together the mystery of a “lost” album in Swift’s discography. Various clues suggest that the album might have been titled Karma and that it was meant to follow her synth-pop pivot 1989. Of course, what actually happened after 1989 is also what might have led to Karma being scrapped (if it even existed): In 2016, Swift endured a very public feud with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian that made her go radio silent for nearly a year until she released 2017’s Reputation. That period also bore controversies over her lack of a clear political affiliation during the 2016 election and alleged falling outs with numerous gal pals attached to her infamous “squad.” Discussion of Karma started to heat up following the release of Red (Taylor’s Version). Swift had been digging deep into her vault while re-recording her music, a process she started after her former label Big Machine sold her original masters to Scooter Braun’s Ithaca Holdings. She dropped new versions of “This Love” and “Wildest Dreams,” which seemed to hint that 1989 (Taylor’s Version) might be on its way — and the most sleuth-y Swifties started to wonder if Karma might eventually come, too. Here’s everything we know about the “lost” album and all the clues that have made fans believe Karma is real. https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-features/taylor-swift-karma-lost-album-real-1234598609/
  14. She's looking really good, maybe the days of the overfilled Gaga are over? giving face for JOKER2. https://www.instagram.com/reel/CsjSEBkuvI
  15. Okay, here me out. It seems to me that there is a notion among people, mostly by straight women, that it is acceptable to label straight men as "zesty" or "sassy." But in doing so, we inadvertently contribute to the view that these traits are inherently negative and incorrect for men to possess. I believe that the increasing instances of Gen Z homophobia and the targeting of straight men for displaying "sassy" behavior (often associated with femininity or homosexuality) are interconnected. Surprisingly, there is a lack of dialogue surrounding this issue. Do you guys think I’m reaching, or do you see my point?
  16. I was told this was only a hit because Ed Sheeran was attached to it, but Ed is flopping with his recent projects. Did Camila win?
  17. The fact this is top 30 on Global Spotify and N/A in the top 200 of Canada, USA, UK and Oceania... All this needs is a resurgence in North America/UK and it could be a smash in 2023

The bops she gave us!! US R&B classic "You Gotta Be" was a top 5 hit there and has over 100M Spotify streams for a 90s single European #1 smash "Life" which went top 10 in 20+ countries The fact she sued Beyonce for not following her rules for covering her songs which included not retitle-ing the song or releasing in music video form and halted production of B'Day with "Kissing You"
  19. #1. Taylor Swift - 278 weeks (+2) #2. Barbra Streisand - 277 weeks. With Lover and Midnights still charting in top 10, how many weeks do you guys think she will accumulate in total?
  20. The song is about a love that could have been but never was. She can't stop herself from continuing to think about it, even years later. The song title could be seen as an abbreviated version of his band name "the 1(975)". There are various references to numbers and counting. We know they are rumored to have first hooked up around the 1989 era, during her "roaring 20s". The line, "you meet some woman on the internet and take her home". His album "A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships" had just been released. On her tour setlist, she swapped out 'Invisible String' (about Joe) for 'the 1' (about Matty) right after her breakup from Joe was announced. Does this make sense or should I call the nurse..?
  21. SNSD is The PinkPrint💗according to A.I.
  22. The same week Kesha made her comeback...
