Notes †The Fame Monster (Deluxe) has 5.22B streams and would be #6 on this list if included in lieu of The Fame. ‡Before anyone asks Meghan Trainor and a few others are not included because their debut albums are not on their Spotify page. For reference, Title is technically not her debut album.
  2. The battle for the UK number one seems to between Barbie girls Billie and Dua. Looks like the girls are fighting And they said Taylor has no impact.
  3. Now that Pain the Town Red got more positive reception I notice the threads about Doja Cat being over are no more while some atrleres are even praising the new single. Does it mean we forgave her for Attention and all the twitter antics?

    Why Isn’t Rebecca Black Smashing?

She delivered SOTY with Crumbs, had a great debut with Let Her Burn, was a good sport with her Friday remix, and her Rebecca Black Was Here EP had some great songs as well. What’s not connecting with the GP?
  5. After the muddy waters of the late 2010s and early 2020s where girls like Halsey and Camila might’ve been able to establish themselves but faltered, are we out of the woods and have the Gen Z MPG’s finally shown themselves clearly? Are Doja, Dua, Billie and Olivia this Gen’s Gaga, Rih, Katy and Taylor? And are they here to stay? And where does all of that leave Ariana? Is she the Queen Mother for ushering in a post-late 2000s popgirl era?

Better First 3 Leads: Lorde or Gaga?

    Who served harder?
  7. It reached #1 on US Spotify becoming the first female solo rap single to do so. Did Doja Cat know the song was that good?
  8. Imagine you could secure All I Want For Xmas is You with all the success in the discography of your fav. which hit song - in case your fave has any - are you willing to give up to get the Xmas smash hit?
  9. https://x.com/thekittensroom/status/1693545281378292158?s=46&t=F2Kqdy7aScoPGAKFHNr8dQ Her new song is #1 on U.S. Spotify after Twitter and ATRL Stan’s swore up and down her “controversy” had ended her. What went wrong for ATRL?
  10. With Paint The Town Red smashing, what other songs addressing hate and haters have smashed before? Post them here
  11. She was heavily pregnant so she couldnt give the choreo her all and was kind of limited in her movement. She didnt have new music to promote No music comeback Silence after the superbowl which is kind of unusual No tour planned Just makeup. Did she literally do it just to sell more makeup? What was her agenda? WE NEED NEW MUSIC MADAM R!
  12. Which singers (male or female) give you a lingering vibe that's unsettling, that most people, on average, wouldn't pick up on (be RESPECTFUL, no super messy comments, don't want this thread closed pls ) I'd personally say Olivia Roderigo. There's just something about her that screams "spoiled brat" underneath that "super-emo punk-lite Gen Z poster girl" image. Also Billie & Charlie Puth. The former seems like she's done some dark & twisted things in the name of being edgy. Also Charlie Puth is giving covert narcissist to me.
  13. which song would you have voted nowadays? the legendary insider Jeff was ahead of his time..
  14. Her current Twitter header seems to hint a song may be coming between August 10-31.
  15. Now we know the GP is tasteless as hell when it comes to music but what are some artists who the GP doesn't care to see evolve from their original sound and grow into a new one and just want party bops from? I'll start: The GP just wants Doja Cat to release Say So 2.0's they didn't whatever noise Attention was. That's why her latest single is doing better.
  16. What made Rihanna stand out compared to other R&B girls at the time and manage to outfavor others girls like Christina millian and Ashanti. Beyoncé clearly was the leader among all R&B girls. Beyoncé had the connections/network, talent, work ethic, and ambition to rule the music scene in the 2000s yet Rihanna was the only other black female artist to manage to thrive in late 2000s and early 2010s not saying the other girls were not good espcially Ciara and Ashanti imo. But how did Rihanna do it? did rihanna just have better connections? (Jay-z and LA Reid) or she simply just had a better management team?

Pick A Team To Listen To Forever

You can only listen to these artists for the rest of your life. Which team do you pick?
  18. TikTok dumped her... Twitter stan accounts deactivating... Demonic possession was in question... Instagram comments more toxic than TheShadeRoom... Publicly lashing fans after they clocked her weirdo boyfriend... Everyone was convinced the Tinychat incel would never recover... Doja Cat went from being bald, a fad, and OVER. (ATRL claims) with a career-ending bomb (Attention) to still being bald but having a brewing mega smash, which is competing with her own records and expected to surge into the US Top 10 next week while rising internationally everywhere as well. What went right? How did she book another SOLO smash with no sidekick and a new vibe sis?
  19. Which album by your fave is a true representation of who you perceive them to be as an artist? Why? I think Nightride fully encapsulates who Tinashe is. It is half moody R&B that defined her first 4 mixtapes, and half turn-up/dance songs that defined her mainstream success. In addition, I feel she released it at a time in her career when she was most hungry to prove herself. Nightride contained very personal songs that she meant for her sophomore album but her label did not believe they were right for the pop direction it was pointing her in. To date, I believe it includes the best writing and production of her career and did not get the success or acclaim it deserved.
  20. vs Vocally who fits the song more? Addison or Gaga
