  1. Outside of the obvious legends Taylor, Bey, Adele and Rihanna that debuted in the 00s I think Lana might become the biggest one from the 2010s. She was the blueprint to a generation of girls, one of the biggest was Billie, and her music is insanely timeless. Her catalog is stomping this decade and it really seems like she’s only growing each year. All this without mainstream hits or much push in the media. What do you think?
  2. I've noticed this phenomenon all the time recently where basically everything unreleased is praised as better almost all the time. My theory is that it's because it means this music is rarer, and less people have heard it, therefore people fancy themselves "tastemakers" and as if they're into some secret amazing music that no one has heard of. For example, Kim Petras' unreleased album Problematique was pretty much panned when it leaked but now that Feed the Beast came out officially everyone is acting like they always loved Problematique and how it's so much better than FTB. I think it's just because it's not out and people don't know it as well, they feel edgy saying it's better. Another example: Bonnie McKee's unreleased songs "SLAY" and "Hot City" have been talked about by gays on forums for a decade and now they're both officially released this past month and crickets. (both bangers tho!)
  3. Peaks: Good Days: #9 (20 weeks) I Hate U: #7 (21 weeks) Shirt: #11 (23 weeks) Nobody Gets Me: #10 (17 weeks) Kill Bill: #1 (35 weeks*) Snooze: #10 (35 weeks*) The fact "Snooze" peaks at #10 in its 35th week in the streaming era is insane Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" blocking "Shirt" from top 10
  4. 2024 Lizzo - Truth Hurts Megan Thee Stallion - Wap 2025 H.E.R. - Best Part Olivia Rodrigo - Good 4 U SZA - The Weekend 2026 Doja Cat - Kiss Me More Summer Walker - Girls Need Love Any surprises?
  5. Was the album cover really that bad? In hindsight it is a campy serve and it reflects the pop diva sensation-hood of the album and it is still selling like hotcakes even 8 months after release only the Weapons songstress her impact!!!!!
  6. OGHs pushed the narrative that Gaga's music had aged horribly for year and years. In 2023, we can positively say without a doubt, that's not the case at all, it's the opposite. Stats, cultural impact, and the iconic factor attached to her discography is proof that her music has reached timeless status. Just to give an example :
  7. The song is a bop and deserves the success of those country MAGA songs, if country is in right now then at least lets this bop smash. Not to mention the beautiful lyrics
  8. Let’s discuss, debate and ultimately decide
  9. Unlike her peers, Nicki is able to craft and perform Dignified Rap songs that are mature, stately and thought provoking. In her discography, aside from the usual fun bops that made her crossover and the foundational rap that gave Street cred, Nicki is able to pull of a dignified side of rap so effortlessly. As seen in songs like Pills N Potions and Fly, she is able to not only rap about ******* and hits, but can be introspective at times that is seldomly explored by her peers.
  10. In honor of her new single art.... Edit: Please keep in good fun! There is a difference between being funny and just straight-up nasty (posting abusers, mocking health issues). This thread is for people who just want to poke fun, throw a little shade, and have a good time.
  11. Displayed on Spotify Desktop on the artist page or on the "Songstats" app avaliable to download for free for extended list. Brandy ATE your favs with this.

You fulfill my every desire When I'm with you, you take me higher
  14. A tribute album to Phil Collins featuring remakes of his hits by... R&B and hip hop artists. Some of the names involved include ODB, Kelis, Lil' Kim, Brandy and Brian McKnight. It even had a couple of European hits: I'd love to have been at the label meeting where they came up with this. Must've been some CIA-grade coke.
  15. Oh she just keeps winning Scott popped the question on Sunday during a family trip to Scotland, PEOPLE exclusively confirms. Deschanel's two children — daughter Elsie, 8, and son Charlie, 6 — played a role in the special moment. Everyone was overjoyed and Deschanel, of course, said "Yes!" Link
  16. The "My Head & My Heart" songstress Tia Tia is dropping BOP AFTER BOP EVERY WEEK. In all seriousness, it's a great fandom to join, the few of us that exist so far are literally so well fed. Boys Go Marching (feat. lots of sexy shirtless boys) Ur Bf Does–the sass we all love in our pop girlies Would You Even Know–first relatively big dance feature!

Is Addison Rae coming to end your faves?

With the confirmation of Addison Rae's debut EP, it's no secret that the new main pop girl can spit out a banger or two. Leaked tracks like "I Got It Bad" and "2 Die 4" have stood the test of time and even resulted in a cult-like fanbase centred around the TikTok songstress. But will she be able to break into the mainstream music industry and end your faves? That is yet to be seen... for now. What do you guys think?
  18. With the way that media and promo has changed, do you see the newer pop girl bunch (Billie, Olivia, Due, Doja) establishing their brand for longevity like the MPGs that proceeded them (Taylor, Rihanna, Beyonce, Gaga, Ariana, Selena)? Can they afford to take long breaks or big risks in this climate? What should they be doing to make sure they build a brand that lasts?
  19. So as of right now we're at a crossroads of not knowing what type or look or sound to expect from Demi on her next album. So far it sounds like it can either continue being a rock pop continuation or back to pop. Which sound she revisit or try on her next record?
  20. The song debuted at #16 this week, and is already predicted to remain inside the top 20 next week. It's still #13 on Spotify and was one of the biggest gainers today on radio: +2 Doja Cat - Paint The Town Red 8 53 14.61 +0.97 This is on the heels of her recent fan controversy and the severe underperformance of "Attention." What went right for the "Say So" songstress?
