  1. In 2000 it seemed that even country radio wanted their own country/pop Britney Spears and that was Alecia Elliott. She released her first single "I'm Diggin' It" in 1999, followed up with "You Wanna What?" in 2000 and released her debut album in January 2000. (her first and only album released in 2000) In 2001, she ended up releasing a Christmas single called "If You Believe" for the Prancer Returns soundtrack and disappeared from the industry after that. She later said that she decided to leave country and was recording a full pop R&B album with a new major record label. However, once she met her now husband she decided to leave the industry and raise a family and her pop album was shelved. Do you remember Alecia Elliott? Were you a fan? Do you wish she had released her pop/R&B album?

Should Arca and Addison Rae collab?

Arca, a Venezuelan musician, and Addison Rae, an American TikTok-famous dancer-turned MPG, are both artists with separate but unique talents. Arca's experimental and electronic-based music is world's apart from the glitzy dance-pop sound of Addison Rae's latest EP, but many people seem to resonate with both of their sonic landscapes in conjunction, as proven by comments and their cult following on social media. In addition, Addison Rae recently told Vogue that she would love to collab with Arca, citing her admiration for their work. But what if these two powerhouses combined forces? Could this unlikely partnership create something that would be both successful, and equally important, unique? Is it worth exploring the idea of these artists collaborating on a project, or should they both continue crafting their own individual sounds?
  4. Low key one of her best songs from her best album Feels like a timeless American classic & standard
  5. Which fanbase of our pop girls is most notorious for being dismissive/deflecting a lot from actual issues brought up by our problematic faves(few being more problematic than the others).
  6. Most rappers could never release something this personal or with this degree of storytelling in just 3 minutes.
  7. I believe this is also the first time she will have 3 albums charting simultaneously on the BB200 (BTD, DYK..., NFR!)
  8. Love this song And I'm shook, The War and Treaty are finally getting their mainstream breakthrough. Albums with no bad songs? No fillers?

What a masterpiece from start to finish, also very cohesive. Every song feels like they belong to the same album. No skips.
  10. Ignoring a certain notorious soundtrack atrocity, this would take the cake for me. Such an awful song and then she tacked in a 7 minute extended version on the deluxe edition of the album. What does ATRL think?
  11. Reading it sideways i had the longest time trying to decipher what those lines were until i realized it says “RINA”
  12. Ate Alice Cooper for me!
  13. The #1 on next week's Billboard Hot 100 is expected to be up for grabs by up to 6 competing songs due to closeness in points: • I Remember Everything • Fast Car • Paint The Town Red • Cruel Summer • Last Night • Rich Men North of Richmond There is no clear winner yet. (Via TalkOfTheCharts) Who do you think will come out victorious? There is only a 10 point difference with the songs.

Does Björk deserve the VMA Vanguard Award?

I have just seen the news that Shakira will receive the VMA Vanguard Award this year, and while I am very happy for her I can't help but feel another artist has been overlooked. Björk is known for her unmatched artistry in her visuals, and has worked with visionaries such as Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, and Alexander McQueen to produce some of the most iconic music videos of all time. Do you agree that Björk is long overdue for the VMA Vanguard Award?
  18. This 1-2 punch classic with Hey Ya! The fact this patiently waited for 8 weeks at #2 behind "Hey Ya" only to finally dethrone it and score a week at #1 It was the 22nd biggest song of the 2000s and outcharted "Hey Ya" despite being released the same week
