Do you believe Ciara is underrated? .. or more so do you believe her success is underplayed? She's been around for 15+ years and scores the occasional hit yet people act like she is completely irrelevant.

base talk What type of album roll-out do you prefer the most?
KatyPrismSpirit posted a topic in Base
An album roll-out can make or break an album as we all know. I made sure to have recent examples at every type of roll-out strategy. What album roll-out do you prefer the most? 1. Very long album roll-outs that take up to a year or even longer where 4-5 singles proceed the album's release. Most of the time, a concrete album hasn't been announced by the time the first singles are released. 2. Shorter album roll-outs that take around 3-4 months with two well promoted pre-release singles and various promotional single releases. The album is announced well in advance and available for pre-order. 3. Very quick album roll-outs, where the album is preceded by one big pre-release single. The album comes out shortly after and also is announced in advance. 4. Surprise drops, these albums get released with the announcement proceeding the album's release a day before or no proper announcement at all. 5. The no single roll-out, where an album is announced well in advance but no lead-singles proceed the album, leaving speculation of it's sound to the fans. The album does have pre-order options. -

I feel like every major artist has a “record breaking” single, album, tour date, amount of streams, chart position in venezeula, amount of awards won in poland’s female artists who’s name starts with the letter B ceremony… What records held by your fave are still impressive today and which records even matter now?

Unlike her most successful songs, GIAW embodied all of her talent and the diversity of her influences. Her vocal abilities are highlighted during the chorus. The verses gave justice to her songwritting and her flow. The final chorus shows up she can modulate her voice to create atmospheres just by herself. The production, while being heavily trap influenced, is led by an acoustic guitar and hypnotic synths.... That gives a timeless touch. Too bad people didn't recognize it.
