  2. Sharon (who was his manager and put this song together) didn't **** about with his solo career. In many ways, this song is why we have The Osbournes today.

  7. The vitriol on a carefree dancepop album is suspicious. Are the other bases jealous and projecting on Dua's pop perfections which they secretly wish their faves should be releasing? Discuss.
  8. It's not an impossible thing for pop girls to secure a fanbase. Gaga did it. Taylor did it. Bey did it. Olivia did it. Dua Lipa obviously has not done it, after seeing the disastrous numbers for her new album. So what can she do to course-correct this?
  9. look, I Luv It may not be what it thinks it is. but you know what? at least she's trying. at least she doesn't just want to be known as 'the latin girl'. Because we are more than our ethnicity. yes we are. We are more than the culture we come from. yes, it is a part of us. yes, it made us. But take me for instance; my family is Italian. but i am more than just "family values" and "food". I have multiple facets to my personality. I am a philosopher, I am neither here nor there. so kudos to Camila for breaking out of the expected stereotypes of a hispanic singer. show us all of you!
  10. Hey y'all. I am usually going to concerts in the DMV area. Since many people have different taste, I figure it would be great to post what concerts we are attending in the area, also Philly or NY so we can all meet up and have fun together!
  11. The album comes out in 11 days with no single and minimal promo/teasing and features only 10 songs
  12. The Summer Carnival tour has just surpassed the Reputation Stadium Tour. According to ATRL, unlike the other girlies on the list the LGBT Acrobat is not relevant, doesn't have any remembered classics and is a boring one tr!ck pony of a performer. So what went right for the "You Make Me Sick" songstress?
  13. For the whole era. Or at least after Houdini. Houdini was great so I wouldn't change anything about that since it came out last year anyway. I feel she should've relaunched the era at the Grammy's with End Of An Era () and a European summer aesthetic for the video + performance. It would've made so much sense with the cover. And then Maria/These Walls/Ilusion for the album launch. I think the whole dark aesthetic was not really selling the era
  14. It really is not a diss track unless you invoke the queen of music it seems. I'm not posting the latest reference because it's too crude.
  15. in 2003 p!nk released her third album "try this" and it was a downfall compared to her successful sophomore era "missundaztood", this is the same thing that happened to dua with her new album after the release of "radical optimism". both albums had singles with a good reception in Europe meanwhile those singles were not a great success in the US. then in 2006 p!nk released her fourth album "i'm not dead" and she smashed with her singles "who knew", "stupid girls" and "u + ur hand". do you guys think dua can do a re-peak in the US after this album?
  16. In honor of Jojo Siwa's attempt at a good girl gone bad era, name some of your favorite examples of this
  17. Era 1 - Lights / Dua Lipa Started off big in the UK, finally breaking into the US late in the era (Lights / New Rules) Droplet Era EDM features become hits WW (INYL / One Kiss) Era 2 - Halcyon / Future Nostalgia Both are eras commonly known as their respective best. Produced some of their biggest hits (ACH & Burn / DSN & Levitating). Soundtrack Release - LMLYD / DTN Both become one of the largest hits of each respective artist following massive eras. Era 3 - Delirium / Radical Optimism Both started off with strong first singles (OMM / Houdini) but the era got weaker due to a messy rollout and additional underwhelming singles What’s next for Dua? Is she releasing her version of Brightest Blue next in 2029?

Bigger: Tate McRae or Sabrina Carpenter?

i just wanna discuss this cuz one had her breakthrough last year and the other one apparently this year, so who would you consider bigger?
  19. Both Radical Optimism and Scarlet can be viewed as underperformances from both Dua Lipa and Doja Cat. Career low reviews, poor streaming numbers and a significant commercial decline from their previous smash albums. While I don't see either of them dominating the Grammys in terms of nominations next year, it's worth noting that both Dua Lipa and Doja Cat were nominated for Album of the Year for their previous eras ("Future Nostalgia" & "Planet Her"), with "Planet Her" receiving 8 Grammy nominations and "Future Nostalgia" receiving 6 in total. If you had to predict one to get nominated in AOTY (as a obvious filler nomination), which one would it be and who has a stronger chance? Scarlet: Metacritic: 70 Paint The Town Red: #1 Hot 100, #1 Pop / Rhythmic Radio Scarlet: #4 Billboard 200 Radical Optimism: Metacritic: 72 Houdini: #11 Hot 100, #6 Pop Radio Radical Optimism: *predicted top 3 Billboard 200
  20. This absolutely BRUTAL takedown of Aubrey Graham aka Drake is something to behold Released a mere hour after Drake puts out a new diss track at Kendrick Lamar, this song take a slow buildup, addressing drakes family members 1 by 1. Will this brutal song place itself among a legendary group of hip hop disses? Discuss
