  1. Although Australia is home to a lot of talented successful acts, I feel they aren't given enough appreciation compared to their American and British peers. Who are the top 5 biggest Australian musicians of all time?
  2. Opulence

    Anyone else not into stans?

Not sure if this is the right area to post this @ mods please move if not. Just wondering if anyone else on this forum is not into all this stan drama comparing everyone to each other. I like what music I like I'm not gonna HATE on another artist just because I like someone else. I like Beyonce, i like Taylor, I like Nicki, I like Cardi, I like Meg etc. I'm not gonna be blind to call out their shortcomings and there are things I don't like about all of them I'm just genuinely listening to the music I like.
  3. This album is kind of aging like fine wine idk. I feel like by the end of the decade it will still be one of the best albums released this decade. The way there are basically no misses on the album... like... What's ur opinion on how this album is aging?
  4. What went wrong for the "Intro (End of the World)" chanteuse?
  5. Was an ANTHEM when I was growing up
  6. Looking at data from 2023 gathered by the MyClimate Foundation where they posted the top 30 list of celebrities emitting the most CO2 from private jets, several celebrities from the entertainment world emitted more CO2 than Taylor. Notable names from the list include: 1. Travis Scott: 6,061.30 metric tons 2. Kim Kardashian: 5,857.60 metric tons 4. Beyoncé/Jay-Z: 4,317.80 metric tons 9. Kylie Jenner: 3,073.10 metric tons 10. Céline Dion: 2,826.90 metric tons 23. Blake Shelton: 1,437.20 metric tons 25. Drake: 1,140.80 metric tons ----- OUT. Taylor Swift (not included since this list only includes the top 30) Looking at data from 2022 gathered by the same student from the earlier thread, several celebrities from the entertainment world emitted more CO2 than Taylor. Notable names include: Pitbull: 3,156.07 metric tons Beyoncé/Jay-Z: 2,044.93 metric tons Blake Shelton: 1,495.97 metric tons Kim Kardashian: 1,486.24 metric tons Dr. Phil: 1,325.44 metric tons Ozuna: 1,319.25 metric tons Keith Urban: 1,146.92 metric tons ------- Taylor Swift: 1,124.32 metric tons Now before the "they're all bad!" replies... well yes! But let's consider this: where are the threads/think pieces on Drake, Kim, Celine, Kylie, Beyoncé? Why do their stans here feel bold to say the most vile things about Taylor (even wishing her death) while failing to realize their favs do the same thing, if not worse? Is it selective outrage? Is it hypocrisy? Thoughts? Feelings?
  7. Like usual atrl gays got something wrong. How can they move forward from here?

Is Olivia Rodrigo giving Sam Smith?

Smash debut and cute sophomore numbers - but clearly a fall from its debut. No Grammys, even though The Thrill Of It All and GUTS were acclaimed. What should Olivia do next so she doesn’t flop like Sam?
  9. no but srsly, what happens when the talk isn't cheap, and it is, what it is sistrens? hum? food for thot.

  12. It’s like they’re purposely ignoring the fact she was clapping and singing when Celine was walking onto the stage. She was also the first person to stand up. Haters just can’t stand her success and are desperately trying to tear her apart for no reason. Do you agree?

What’s next for Lil Nas X?

Which JChrist flopping upon release what is for the Old Town Road rapper?
  14. According to this tracker lady Gaga used her private jet at least 27 times during 2023. https://celebrityprivatejettracker.com/lady-gaga-n474d/#gref She didn't tour last year so She didn't have to go from a place to another in just half of a day and organizations problems Why do you think She used her jet set with 1500 gallons of emissions for these Miami new jersey travels just for personal pleasure or for some meeting She could have planned different and travel to them with regular flights? Do you think Gaga has some moral responsability for these unnecessary travels?
  15. Bland pop schlock are going to be more likely to afford this thing. The point I'm making is given the relative lack of detail and flavor and I don't know distinct production on something like the new Ariana Grande single for example. Do I really need to hear that in spatial audio? Probably not, however would it instead be amazing to hear such a thing on a record that is a lot more densely layered and nuanced, maybe a bit more experimental or out there or isn't likely to net as many streams, or you know gain as much profit because it's not as viral, it's not as easily digestible, it's not as hungry for chart positions.
  16. What would Lorax say now? Was Taylor actually the protagonist villain "Once-ler" in the movie who was a money hungry singer that damaged the environment? Discuss.

  18. I think there is no need for an introductory story about what happened here. Does Nicki Minaj have a chance or opportunity to restore her reputation and become cool again like it's 2012? I'm not defending Nicki, I just want to hear your subjective opinions. Because sooner or later she may think about this question (and provide us reasons for new megathreads).
  19. yes, and? was in my opinion good but the track isn't really sticking with the GP and is already losing steam. furthermore, ariana is very silent... no interviews, no promo, no photoshoots and it was announced that she wont release more singles until the project drops in march. are you still hyped for eternal sunshine?
  20. Wow such a stunning moment at the Grammy's
  21. "Love Is All We Need" from Celine Dion's risky 2003 electropop album "One Heart" She risked losing her adult contemporary fanbase by going pop route!
