  1. And when i say solid i mean it, like going all in, without caring about charts or sales and just give us those dark, sophisticated, cult spooky, campy bops The current queen of Halloween is Kim Petras, Gaga should make a Turn Off The Light ON STEROIDS It might not chart on the H100 but if quality is delivered people will stream it for decades to come during Halloween Imagine this with Gaga's vocals from Scheiße:

    Is Euphoria Drake's Shether?

After the back to back lashings of The Story of Adidon, Rick Ross' recent mess, it truly feels like Kendrick LASHED Drake in the most unexpectedly lethal way — similar to how his YMCM labelmate/second bad ***** competitor Nicki Minaj got hit with Shether. Is his Shether or actually, even Ether moment here? Although he will never comeback with something like a Takeover

  4. What's the plan? what's the MOVE? how do you save Dua Lipa?

  6. Considering he was name dropped by Taylor and got people talking a little bit and releasing a collab with K-pop group Stray Kidz next week will his first single in almost a year be a hit? I think he may have the opportunity to have his biggest debut on spotify global if his team gives him good playlisting. What do you think? His last single "Lipstick" debuted with about 750k streams globally, prior to that "Thats Not How This Works" debuted with 1.2 million streams. His biggest solo debut is Light Switch with 2.7 m
  7. Everyone talking about the numbers, irdgaf, let's take a moment and talk about the MUSIC Can we take a moment and APPRECIATE the artistic growth she's made when it comes to choosing album closers? This is MILES AHEAD of Boys Will Be Boys and Homesick. This is a BEAUTIFUL moment, the reference to Anwar
  8. Two timeless tracks, Spice Girls' "Goodbye" and Avril Lavigne's "When You're Gone," stand out as dignified pop ballads, frequently chosen to accompany final goodbyes. "Goodbye," penned as a tribute to their departed bandmate Geri Halliwell, carries a tender resonance, its lyrics a bittersweet ode to loss and gratitude. Conversely, "When You're Gone" marked a pivotal shift for Lavigne, unveiling a more vulnerable and mature facet of her artistry during the Girlfriend era. Both songs, despite their differing origins and contexts, share a common thread of emotional depth and sincerity. As mourners seek solace in music's embrace, the choice between these two masterful compositions poses a poignant question: which resonates more profoundly as the ultimate funeral pop ballad?
  9. Well it's official, Radical Optimism is a devastating bomb. After the hype of Future Nostalgia, it failed to crack more than 16m streams. How can Dua recover? What direction should she try for her next album? What can be done?
  10. In the last 10 years, Shakira has focused on Spanish-language music. This has brought her huge success and has allowed her to remain relevant even with new competition like Karol G, Rosalía, and Becky G, but I feel like it has turned her into another local america's star when she's more than that Releasing collaborations with the trendy reggaeton artists and predictable music to make hits. Also, Shakira has lost a lot of power in Europe and other parts of the World because Spanish-language music is only successful in the majority of the Americas-The States. Is harder for Spanish songs to get top chart positions in Europe-Asia-Africa-Oceania If y'll check karol g is massive but her songs rarely chart big in Europe Non-english music also get less hype from the American Media-Stan Community Honestly, I miss Shakira's English music a lot. In Spanish, we already know what to expect from Shakira (reggaeton, bachata, Mexican....). But in English, she used to be more inventive and always explored new things-experimented with her songs. It gave her the opportunity to explore more territories, to be more edgy. More intellectual too Sadly so many in the Anglo world are not appreciative of her english music. Yll pay her dust. I know her latest songs in English weren't good (Dont Wait Up/Dont You Worry/Girl Like Me), but you have to consider that they were made by very bad or mid producers: William (Britney Jean/Manjobi) Kirpatrick (Matches By Britney/Radical Optimism/Sixteen By Ellie Goulding/Look at Her Now by Selena/You By Miley Cyrus). Honestly, I feel like Shakira should drop the rock and electropop She's too focused on those worlds and they dont bring good things for her commercially wise Shakira should go back to world music songs-latin cocktails in English (most of her hits are ). Also, explore more R&B, Arabic music, and dancehall. Disco music too The sound-vibe of the "She Wolf" album. This is the direction her career should take?? Agree with me or not? Are u here for Shakira going back to english? Is Shakira limiting herself releasing music in only one language? Imagine Shakira career without Whenever Whenever-Hips-Waka Waka-She Wolf.........

    Failed nepo babies?

Any nepo babies that fumbled ? How does your dad found Motown Records, sign literal legends and you do this ? Any other examples ?
  13. do you think the fact that Dua doesn't have an ATRL banner contributed to her poor sales? I think so
  14. I'm not talking about the music but just about her image. I think the video of New Rules is the main reason that song (and her career) exploded. She was serving indie looking girl making commercial and generic big pop music. I think her appeal was that and what made her "different" as brand between the other big pop girls around. Then the girl give us nothing meme happened and she turned more and more in a sort of pop performer with visuals and staging very generic and already seen million times. Like the kinda of performance the 80% of every act on the Eurovision stage can make. She went from having that "different girl vibe" to be dragged on reviews for having no personality and being "just an instagram model". I think it was a bad idea going from generic music to being generic also in the way she presents herself and the music. She made the biggest mistake you can make: trying to be interesting for the GP (gay) men stucked in the 2001. So shoud Dua going back to her roots and old big eyebrows?
  15. Both are their most underrated singles but which bubblegum pop single do you prefer?
  16. It seems pretty likely that no one is unseating Taylor Swift from the #1 slot at this point. But what about 2nd place? With the onslaught of albums by popular female artists this year, who do you think will eventually end up with the biggest female album of the year after 'TTPD'?

    Smilers hate Dua, why?

Is this just because of Prisoner? Or what is it? Smilers are FIRST in line on Twitter to hate on anything that Dua does. It's so extremely confusing Miley and Dua aren't even peers. Miley had a whole succesful career a DECADE before Dua even took off. Why are they not picking fights with Demi and Selena who are Miley's actual peers??

  19. Both are unpopular and there were better single choices that should have been a single instead of these two.
  20. The decline from Katy's Prism to Witness was a 90% decline (and a long break of 4 years between releases) It's been over 4 years since Dua released Future Nostalgia to Radical Optimism. The album debuted with 16M Spotify streams. Is the break to blame?
  21. Sabrina is having a great year with her soon to be smash hit 'Espresso', an undoubtedly bubblegum pop release Dua is seeing the greatest underperformance of her career w her new album, including the first three singles off it Has the GP moved on from her to Sabrina? Is there only space for 1 pop girl darling? Should Dua fight back and sabotage Sabrina?
  22. Oh sweetheart put the bottle down, cause you don't wanna miss out Released as the 2nd single of her "All I Ever Wanted" era it became the 2nd of 3 top 20 singles of the era peaking at #20 in the USA and #9 in Australia and #8 on Pop Radio Katy's Version:
