Is this the lead single we're expected? It is quirky, fun, catchy and smart song? And now, do you appreciated the song even more?

Sharon (who was his manager and put this song together) didn't **** about with his solo career. In many ways, this song is why we have The Osbournes today.

The vitriol on a carefree dancepop album is suspicious. Are the other bases jealous and projecting on Dua's pop perfections which they secretly wish their faves should be releasing? Discuss.

Charli XCX - SUCKER (2014) Camila Cabello - C,XOXO (2024) Discuss, tastefully.

base talk Fortnight serving NO longevity. Why? UPDATE: predicted to leave the hot100's top 3
Space Cowboy posted a topic in Base
It's been barely two weeks and it's already already down at #4 on Global spotify and #5 on US spotify. It failed to snatch a second #1 week in the UK despite she releasing physical copies to boost its performance. Other hits by other pop girls had higher streams after the same days edit: Fornite is now at #8 in US spotify and predicted to drop from the top 3 in the hot 100 just in its third week. Why do you think Tay's new single is showing signs of poor longevity?- 169 replies

base talk Has "We Found Love" surpassed "Umbrella" as Rihanna's signature song?
naval23 posted a topic in Base
It's currently her most streamed song on Youtube and Spotify and continues to receive the most daily streams. It's also her longest running #1 in the US and only one to make top 200 All-Time on the Billboard chart at #27 while going #1 in 25+ countries. We Found Love: 1,600,574,924 (+1,419,177) Umbrella: 1,496,419,842 (+1,024,481) -
i just wanna discuss this cuz one had her breakthrough last year and the other one apparently this year, so who would you consider bigger?

base talk I applaud Camila for trying to break out of the 'spicy latina' stereotype she was in
Pikachoo posted a topic in Base
look, I Luv It may not be what it thinks it is. but you know what? at least she's trying. at least she doesn't just want to be known as 'the latin girl'. Because we are more than our ethnicity. yes we are. We are more than the culture we come from. yes, it is a part of us. yes, it made us. But take me for instance; my family is Italian. but i am more than just "family values" and "food". I have multiple facets to my personality. I am a philosopher, I am neither here nor there. so kudos to Camila for breaking out of the expected stereotypes of a hispanic singer. show us all of you! -

It's not an impossible thing for pop girls to secure a fanbase. Gaga did it. Taylor did it. Bey did it. Olivia did it. Dua Lipa obviously has not done it, after seeing the disastrous numbers for her new album. So what can she do to course-correct this?

The Summer Carnival tour has just surpassed the Reputation Stadium Tour. According to ATRL, unlike the other girlies on the list the LGBT Acrobat is not relevant, doesn't have any remembered classics and is a boring one tr!ck pony of a performer. So what went right for the "You Make Me Sick" songstress?

It really is not a diss track unless you invoke the queen of music it seems. I'm not posting the latest reference because it's too crude.

base talk "radical optimism" is the "try this" (p!nk) of the 20's?
gwen stacy posted a topic in Base
in 2003 p!nk released her third album "try this" and it was a downfall compared to her successful sophomore era "missundaztood", this is the same thing that happened to dua with her new album after the release of "radical optimism". both albums had singles with a good reception in Europe meanwhile those singles were not a great success in the US. then in 2006 p!nk released her fourth album "i'm not dead" and she smashed with her singles "who knew", "stupid girls" and "u + ur hand". do you guys think dua can do a re-peak in the US after this album? -
I'm not even trying to be shady How the f*ck she debuts with 15.8M streams? How the f*ck RO does half of what FN did, despite she being more popular now and having a bigger following? What exactly did Dua and her team do wrong? How did they destroy all the hype?
