In the ever-flowing river of time, it's time we take a reflective pit stop and reconsider our treatment of Ellen DeGeneres. Remember when we collectively hit the cancel button on her? Yeah, that was a moment. But let's zoom out for a sec. Ellen's always been there, dishing out love to our faves and redefining what it means to be an LGBT icon. She's basically the cheerleader of the rainbow squad. So, as we scroll through our mental timeline, maybe it's time to ask ourselves: Did we go a tad overboard with the public persecution? Are we ready to extend that olive branch and say, "Hey Ellen, sorry about the whole backlash thing"?
