She really loved listening to this album for the first time. Again, she focuses more on the lyrics and vocals. She praises Madonna’s vocal delivery and how chill the album is. Bedtime Stories is definitely an underrated Madonna album. Very smooth, mature and elegant. -
Both have similar critical reception: Midnights has an 85 on MC, while Vespertine has an 88. Midnights has 7.0 on pitchfork, while Vespertine has a 7.1. Midnights got a 5/5 from Rolling Stone and The Guardian, while Vespertine got 4/5 from those magazines. Are you surprised that both albums have similar levels of acclaim?

@25:50 I just got off YT Live by Armon Wiggins. Where he basically saying Cardi B is distracted + allowing Ice Spice to take her spot potentially. Thoughts? I HIGHLY disagree. Tbh it’s a bit insulting to Cardi, saying Ice is going to take her spot. Based on WHAT exactly? Cardi had a #1 SOLO HIT leading into her come up era, many high profile covers, strong performances, etc. While Nicki/Cardi are my favs, hell…even I can admit this comparison sounds ridiculous. I know Ice Spice has Gen Z in chokehold, but…has she even performed live on TV yet or had a solo Top 10….? People really be taking features and frontloaded remixes (and Met Gala appearances) seriously these days huh? IMO, being an it girl is more than just checking boxes + following a marketing template. What y’all think?

Did Ajay spill about Renaissance or is she simply a hater? What’s going on? Is Ajay a plant? or is it Beyoncé? I want to say she’s wrong about Heated but that outro goes on for a bit too long and you have to be in the mood for the song. Alien Superstar does have that amazing chorus but the lyrics in the verses are a bit silly…unicorn is the uniform you put on? Like girl what? I think the truth is that she kind of spilled a little because otherwise why would everyone be so worked up. The album had a very interesting production at first and I think that’s what drew a lot of us in. I really liked Cuff It but all the F bombs kind of ruin it. So do you guys agree with ajay? Does Renny suck? or is Ajay simply just a hater?
