In my opinion, album track streams are a pretty good metric to maessure the demand of an artist/album instead of overall streams. Bebe Rexha´s new album for example has just surpassed 1.0B streams (which looks good on first sight) but 97% of those streams come from "I´m Good (Blue)" while many album tracks are at 300-500k total streams. So what are the average streams of your faves top 5 album tracks? *album tracks with music videos don´t coun´t *album tracks that are singles in more than 1 country don´t count

With all the recent drama around Taylor dating that one guy from The 1975 and her not speaking outwardly on the recent attacks on the queer community, Taylor fans have been especially vocal about her need to take accountability. I personally think obsessing over who a stranger dates is odd and yes- unhealthily para-social and many stans are taking it way too far to where it seems they may need to schedule a therapy appointment. But at the same time I have a lot of respect for Taylor’s fanbase at large (not ALL of you, tho ), because they always seem capable of continuing to love her while also expecting her to do better and vocalizing that. I haven’t seen this level of accountability from other fanbases. Are Swifties just different like that? (this isn’t a hate thread, I find it genuinely intriguing)

I saw this tweet yesterday (which isn't viral and I'm not calling it that ) and I also saw the following posted on ATRL: So I thought I'd ask the question of the wider ATRL community to get their thoughts. Is Dua Lipa's music basic pop music or is it pop excellence? NB: For the sake of this thread, basic pop music isn't necessarily bad, I'm asking whether the music is simplistic and formulaic or if it's lyrically clever/melodically interesting and unique.

I just listened to it front to back 2 times and a row and literally can't physically tolerate any song besides Time. Time, however, is a masterpiece.

I was showing my friend my Tinder matches recently and he pointed out that they were all “fit” (muscular) but said it in a bit of a weird tone, so I replied asking what about it and he said that it’s kind of weird (Ironically, every guy he dates/has shown me is also fit so I was confused ) I didn’t want to argue or get into a debate so I just joked it off, but do you guys think there’s anything wrong with this?
