Okay, here me out. It seems to me that there is a notion among people, mostly by straight women, that it is acceptable to label straight men as "zesty" or "sassy." But in doing so, we inadvertently contribute to the view that these traits are inherently negative and incorrect for men to possess. I believe that the increasing instances of Gen Z homophobia and the targeting of straight men for displaying "sassy" behavior (often associated with femininity or homosexuality) are interconnected.
