  1. What are some of the best transition moments when one song transitions into another? One of the most noted ones is Chromatica II to 911, with a bunch of random memes being made about it I personally love the transition from Raven to Bruises on Kelela's 2023 album Any others?
  2. In the 90s trip hop was pretty popular, could a female singer bring the genre back and how would atrl gays handle the change? These are some of my fave trip hop songs
  3. Will the Queen of Single stack-on do what she does best for the streams/certifications ?
  4. Imagine if it was released instead of "Birthday" MV.

Is Flowers the song of the decade?

It's been over a year since it's release and still it's everywhere. Personally, I listen to it daily for over a year and haven't got bored at all. It's a timeless classic Can we say that it officially surpassed Bad Habits by Ed Sheeran and Hold Me Closer as the song of the decade? As my fave was busy releasing cheap atrocious song aka Stupid Love and selling Rat Labs, Miley released a masterpiece.
  6. Which one do you prefer? The 6 week #2 peaking single "Shake It Off" blocked by her own "We Belong Together" and Kanye's "Gold Digger" or the two week #1 "Touch My Body"
  7. I think it will debut below Midnights and 1989 TV but above Reputation and original 1989 so like maybe 1.3M opening week. What do you guys think?

    Your faves best festival set

What is your favs best festival set? mine would be Rihanna at Hackney it’s just pure fun
  9. While MPGs are a broad category, there are some that are obviously of a smaller scale. Taylor and Beyonce at the top with maybe Ariana and Katy as the smaller MPGs. She has the ability to push smash hits, has a loyal audience, touring force, critics darling and massive album streaming numbers. While R&B is her market, I think she's become too big to be labeled to just R&B, she's absolutely a crossover force of nature with nearly 5 years of featuring pop smashes under her belt. All of the Stars, What Lovers Do, Kiss Me More, The Weekend (CH Remix), and many more for years to come. Plus her massive r&b songs! While she is R&B at her core, I feel like the pop audience is very receptive to whatever her output is going to be, her voice and pen are just too good to be ignored. Success and popularity wise, she is officially in popstar territory if we're talking fame tbh.

    Classic songs released this decade?

By “classic”, I mean a song that is so ubiquitous and loved across so many people that it’s almost guaranteed to be a classic song in music 20 to 30 years from now. In the same way Jolene, Hotel California, Don’t Stop Believing, MHWGO, AIWFICY, Poker Face, and Single Ladies are classics. Flowers is one for sure. Maybe Blinding Lights? Y’all will say As It Was but while it was big at the time, it’s not really referenced anymore.

  12. She released Hold Me Closer, which was a moderate success for her with multiple #1s and a top 10 placement in the US. The song has decent Spotify streams. It seemed to be a decent farewell/retirement song with a legend. Then she released one of the worst songs ever recorded, and it seems like she will never release music again.
  13. Fastlane

    Worst lead singles EVER?

Well... It was a complete flop after her Unwritten album.
  14. Deserved #1 Did your fav make the list? Link: https://www.billboard.com/lists/top-breakup-songs-all-time/ “The combined pain of saying goodbye to a relationship and reconciling yourself to the mistakes you made isn’t an easy thing to capture in just one song, but Lorde is no ordinary songwriter. Her sophomore album Melodrama is filled with nuanced notes on rediscovering and reclaiming yourself after a breakup, from “Green Light” to “Liability” — but there’s just something special about “Supercut” that’s made it a time-tested fan favorite in particular.”

    Should Britney work with Kaytranada?

I mean…look at the material. This mashup has made me fall in love with this song all over again. Ugh. Sorry if this been posted before, YT just suggested it to me a few weeks ago. Im late lol.
  16. I'm obsessed with this album and it had so many bops and great visuals.
  17. I love the music but it’s not giving that wow factor that Future Nostalgia did. Even the performances
  18. The sped up tik tok mash up is currently #1 on urban radio. One of the excuses her stans make as to why she doesn’t chart better is no radio … but with even with airplay it’s not smashing. Why? Everybody Spotify: #153 United States #163 Ireland #197 United Kingdom Apple Music: #77 Anguilla #79 The Bahamas #134 Sweden #141 United Kingdom #157 United States 13 on us radio. 89 on Apple Music. What happened!?
  19. The cleverness of the lyrics, the way she subtly dragged the Daily Mirror and The Sun, the way there's not a single line about a guy with "ocean blue eyes", she's just above everybody else I fear.
